I got excited as I received a despatch email from WS but it was only for the penguin socks and not the calendar 😏

I had foresworn all ACs this year and got the Liberty GWP last month but this one swayed me!

I've order JL for DD - it seems a nice mix of perfume, make-up and skincare. As she's not had it before, it won't matter if it's a bit samey as last year!

@greengreengrass25 yeah you need a TikTok account. I literally only use mine to buy LIB stuff from their shop as they always seem to discount lower .
I think be careful buying from any other sellers as there are a few scammers on there but never had any issues from LIB and have bought 4 things now from them
the coupons just seem to be there and you just claim them. Don’t really understand that bit I just claimed the coupon and the price was £41.40 at the checkout which is worth it for me
As for unused items I have 2 adult daughters and quite a few teenage nieces who are always up for freebies otherwise you could always sell on EBay/Vinted (although never done that yet due to my female heavy family)

I think that's possibly the majority of the Christmas presents and stockings for the women in my family!

I have been into Fenwicks today and they had the calendar and gwp on display. The gift set looks really good so I was extra tempted.

I ordered from Bridal Beauty quite a few times, only mystery boxes, haven't tried the actual sets with descriptions. I also ordered on 2 for 1 offers as well.
They are really good and it's a nice mix of skincare and makeup.
Only trouble is on 2 for 1 you get 2 identical boxes so the surprise element only happens with one opening. They are actually bags not boxes.
Also you always have to pay postage (£5 I think).

Thank you for the info on the boxes. I pulled back from ordering this morning as there was no information on what the boxes included. Gone back to order now and they are out of stock. 😞 That’ll teach me not to dither!

decided against LF chest & AC - thanks for the great info on how to find it - I don’t want all the make up bits nor more hair cream. I’m just going to hang on for Black Friday maybe.

I got the LIB tik tok last week and sold the items I didn't want (mlm, tanning stuff) and got back £36! So I've used that to replace the things I took out and got a byredo lipstick, evelom mask, hourglass lipstick and a rare beauty liner.

Wow this thread is filling up fast! It feels like 5 minutes since the other one was in the 900-post mark and I was wondering when the next thread would begin, then I blinked and missed it!
In the meantime I've done a spreadsheet. 🤣

I thought I had it nailed down to either Elemis, Clarins or Anthropologie, but then I saw the M and S one and I could spend the £25 on the L'Occitane advent calendar or some Murad products. I think the product listing for the M and S one I saw may have been last year's though? Have they actually given out the details for this year yet?

I wish there was a database somewhere to put in my favourite products or brands and find my ideal calendar, even a "If you liked X you'll like Y in calendar Z" would be great.
