Espadrilles in the cupboard, folks.

That's some collection and what a story of a rescue. They've been kept together for the longest time. I see there are lots of bids already. A lot of mens pieces too. Some beautiful cufflinks. Who buys these pieces today though?

I've often wondered if there aren't vaults where treasures rescued are are still unclaimed because the owners have passed away taking their secrets with them.

Kate has that Erdem dress (pictured) that Sophie is wearing, though in a shorter length.

Beatrice looks great in this coat and the velvet shoes are worth a closer look. She is one of the few people who look really good in that colour. Kate should donate all her camel coats to her!

True. I live Oop North, and witnessed a woman in high heels have a terrible fall on the cobbles not long ago. Poor woman went down hard.

My brother fell over and broke his foot running on cobbles. But he wasn't wearing high heels as far as I know!

Maybe he was..... they're a treacherous surface indeed.

I think Beatrice is either a Spring or Autumn so camel should suit her.
If Kate is a Summer as people on Mumsnet say she is, camel wouldn't be a good colour for her colouring

I must be an outlier because I don’t like those chintzy Vampire’s Wife dresses. Like Sophie’s dress but needs better support.

Bea is definitely having her fashion moment which is nice to see.

I think the Sophie/Kate Erdem dress is the only one I've seen from that designer that I like!

I fell over on my drive the other day in trainers. They were soaked because it was raining hard and the drive was slippery. I'd be no good as a royal!

I've been MIA for a while but am back. I think Sophie has gained a little weight recently. I don't think it's a problem - just a bit of a slight change in her figure as she gets a bit older - but I think she's maybe just struggling to dress for her slightly changed figure.

I think I've said it before - she might be a royal but she always seems a lot like other middle aged women I know who live quite busy and fulfilling lives, and have money, but don't necessarily have the focus or attention or interest to really get it right in terms of dressing all the time. I always assume that she would have a dresser or wardrobe person but I'm really not actually sure she does - maybe only for the really big occasions? And the rest of the time she's winging it?

Hence not having quite the right underwear or things not quite sitting right.

I mean, I know a woman who works for one of the big fashion houses - she has a diploma (degree equivalent I think) in underwear design. She spends her days designing and making corsets and underwear etc to go into or under designer dresses!

I want to like this camel trouser suit on Char - I like chic neutrals like this, and she is generally good at them - but in the end I think I've realised that I actually hate the oversized trouser suit vibe. Love her dark manicure though.

I think we have a couple of tiaras this week - Camilla is rumoured to be wearing the George IV Diamond Diadem for the state opening of parliament tomorrow and Leti at a state banquet in Spain as well.

I also don't like the oversized suit look. The colour looks okay on her though - maybe with a bit of a brighter lipstick though so she doesn't look washed out?
