Espadrilles in the cupboard, folks.

I love the knitted dresses and separates that are around at the moment, and I think Catherine looks great. She is also very brave as something that fitted does tend to show every lump and bump. I don’t think
my abs are up to an outfit like that anymore! I’m not sure about the colour of the yellow jacket, unless she wore it to deliberately stand out

I’m not a fan of Meghan’s off the shoulder jacket. I can’t see why you would wear a jacket that leave you exposed like that. I thought the point of a jacket was to add an extra layer. It looks a bit contrived to me. Also with that deep peplum sort of thing it does have the unfortunate effect of someone having forced a lampshade over her head.

What a figure she has, this photo looks like something from vogue.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head - if that outfit had been on someone taller, then the proportions would sit better. And that goes for a few outfits.

And as for PoW.. it's making consider wearing something like it myself. She looks fab 😊

I really like Kate's outfit today - simple and very elegant.

I feel that Kate has redone her "on duty" wardrobe since she has become Princess of Wales. I think previously the expectations of Royal attire of family's old guard of flouncy dresses, sensible skirts and blouses were a constraint. I also think that she was less sure of her role a decade ago and took safety in conservative dressing then.

I love that she now has trouser suits as staple workwear and has branched out into knitted separates and also looks fantastic dressed down in sportswear playing rugby. I also love the attention to detail, the little touches, such as wearing a gift from a bereaved parent on MH day.

I love that cream outfit. Even the flowers she was given were perfect with it.

The Sézane ensemble is lovely and a nice break from Suitsville. Even the matching accessories work today. My only quibble is that close-fitting knitted skirts can look a bit "pelvic" in some photos!

Kate looks absolutely amazing today.

She just needs an M&S slip underneath. 😊

@themessygarden That will surely become an iconic photo! Along with Kate at DoEs funeral ( looking at camera with a mask on) and at the coronation in that wonderful cape when she’s striding out . I’d Google and post a link but I’m cooking!

I’m still quietly chuffed that my coronation tiara was quite similar to her coronation headdress.

The photo of her at the late D of E’s funeral was hauntingly beautiful.

Flaunting! A word that sets my teeth on edge for so many reasons.

I like them both in cream but certainly it’s lucky Meghan’s stateside and out of the Royal Family Inc as that outfit would have caused much outrage on these shores. I think she looks good in off the shoulder stuff but I certainly associate it with an evening look in general.

I don't think Meghan's outfit would have caused any outrage on "these shores". It's perfectly nice, just not to everyone's taste.

Makes me think of the old DM headlines "X flaunts her legs as she saunters into Waitrose". In other words "woman goes to supermarket"!

At least she didn't 'put on a leggy display'! Kates outfit is really lovely. I can't see her shoes.

Oh I see them now... hmm...what would others put with that outfit? I wouldn't wear those shoes, though they look great in her formal capacity.
