Kate wore that yellow blazer with a white top and trousers before, which I thought worked better than the black.

Meghan's outfit is Altuzarra and the shoes are Aquazurra - easy to get those mixed up! Her emerald and sapphire earrings are gorgeous and my favourite part of her ensemble.

Me neither. The black and yellow made me think of bees.

Those earrings of Meghan's are beautiful, and the story of Kate's earrings is touching.

I really don't like Meghan's mismatched white-cream off the shoulder outfit

I agree, Meghan's earrings are gorgeousss

I don’t love the mismatched creams in Meghan’s outfit either, but colour aside I really don’t like the wide-legged trousers with that jacket. The whole outfit just swamps her in fabric. It’s also a very evening gown neckline for a day event. Loving the earrings though!

Kate’s sunny yellow jacket is on theme for the engagement and a nice cut, but I’m not a fan of the colours overall. 🐝 Lovely earring choice though. I do not like her hair like this at all.

Me neither and I don’t think it’s suitable for the occasion either, fine for a glam evening event if that’s her bag, but for a talk on mental health with parents who have lost their children to suicide it does not look professional and screams look at the outfit and my shoulders rather than listen to what I have to say.

I do like Meghan's cream top & ivory/white trousers combo. She has beautiful shoulders & décolletage and those off the shoulder tops look amazing on her.
However I do think the top was a tad inappropriate for the seriousness of occasion.

Meghan’s white/cream outfit to me is another example of an outfit I find hideous but which she somehow gets away with! She really is beautiful.

The white outfit also blended with the chair! Meghan dresses for someone just a bit taller than she actually is.

Kate looks great. I love her new hairstyle. That deep yellow jacket is a difficult colour to wear.
The story behind the earrings 🥲

I thought initially Meghan's outfit was lovely but as posters have pointed out she wore it to a day event on young people's mental health in relation to social media, meeting parents whose beloved children died by suicide, so yes, I agree the outfit was inappropriate for the event.
She looked very pretty. I think the make up was a little heavy handed.
I hadn't noticed the top and trousers were slightly different in colour until it was mentioned on here.

I thought this too at first. But then I was reading through various posts and I realised there really is a slightly different vibe in the US than here. And I remembered I've noticed it more when I've visited New York in the past or had US friends visiting here. And as an actress, a celebrity and a royal, I think the expectation for her to be is that bit more glamorous, that bit more fashion-forward. When looking through the overall photos of the event, she actually looks great and not at all inappropriate.

Jeez, I didn't realise she wore that as a speaker at a talk for parents whose kids died from suicide, even if the outfit was fabulous on her, it is absolutely the wrong image/outfit for presenting at something as sombre as that.

Ugh, is all I can say.

I love Kate’s polished but simple outfit today - even her hair, amazingly. However she had it blow-dried today is a vast improvement on yesterday.

On a side note, Kate has been very busy lately! I know it’s a slimmed down monarchy, back to school etc. but she’s been doing a lot more than we usually see. Just needs to wear a tiara more!

I was in the Sezane store in Notting Hill last week, I find their clothes don't have much hanger appeal, but they are amazing on and really well priced.

I follow an interior designer who is a doppelgänger for Catherine and she wears a lot of Sezane clothes.

I have been trying to get that sezane outfit in navy for a while but all sold out. She looks great in it.

In regards to Meghan’s outfits. I love the casual look. I’ve always thought she nails the cool, casual look so well. I love a letterman jacket and I’m pretty sure I wore a similar outfit about 10 years ago.

But I really hate the cream outfit. The shades are mismatches, the top and bottoms look mismatched (dressy evening top Vs business chic bottoms, is this a jumpsuit or separates?), the silhouette drowns her frame. Not to mention it seems inappropriate to be flaunting your shoulders/décolletage on such a serious and somber occasion.

Kate's outfit I think looks transparent because of camera flashes which have caught the best folks out.
