Morning all, I'm just checking in from my IoW residences as it's my birthday and my lovely DH thought I'd like a day out....so we're currently at Osborne house and will be going to Carisbrooke Castle after. Sadly I had to travel over on the ferry with the riff raff but in my head I'm Queen of the Island for the day and have brought you all here in spirit!

My worst (the Caribbean horror show dress) and best (from the early days). I love the pale yellow and I don't even mind the LK Bennett sledges!

Also love the Wimbledon yellow that you like @Maireas, and as we've often said, that's the best her hair has ever looked.

I would agree with your choices, @MotherofPearl , and also about Kate's hair in that picture. I also really like no.10, the Roksanda. I do wish she'd rewear that one. Also the Wimbledon dresses.

Two of my picks for worst - one is a proper “my eyes!”moment, and the other makes me wonder who told her these things would work together?

They are definitely awful, although it's a bit close with the Erdem. I genuinely don't know where to start with either.

The yelllow D&G she wore to Wimbledon for me too, Maireas. She was still a bit fuller-figured after having Louis (I think it was Louis) and the dress really suited her.

Gosh that teal skirt and black lace top combo really doesn't work. I don't mind the black knit dress.

Mette-Marit's 50th birthday portraits. Predictably I really dislike the high-neck floral Erdem - it is dreadful. Her make-up is heavier than normal too, and I'm not sure it works. However I think she looks great in the white floral dress.

I wonder if her birthday celebrations will rival EBG's? Somehow I doubt it!

The white dress is lovely. Although I rather like the yellow colour on her, I agree that the neckline is too high, and the style a bit fussy.
