In my Pile of Doom here in the tower I’m adding those shorts William wore for their Christmas photo one year. Hairy Royal upper thigh I never want to see again.

Oh, I have to agree with all these suggestions. William's shorts and Kate's Pirates of Penzance trews, most definitely.
I think the next event may well be the State Opening of Parliament. We may have to rely on European and other royal families for weddings etc

Aren't the wales's going to be blitzing the commonwealth this winter on a charm offensive. Kate has been on holibobs they say to Mustique and spent time with foreign royals. Maybe she's picked up inspiration for some summery garb.

I’m one of the (much-maligned) Erdem fans do they can definitely stay - well, with a couple of exceptions!

Carl Gustav is celebrating his golden jubilee in September so there are likely to be some gala events for that. We can cross our fingers that the British royals will send representatives…

I too came on to say that @Serenster has accomplished her mission. The first dress with the funky buttons and wine belt is gorgeous on Kate.

Although re Erdem - isn't the problem with them that the bad ones she wears are SOOOO bad, you feel like your eyes have been poked with a hot poker and so you forget about the less bad ones!? I mean that circa 1970s brocade furniture thing... argh.
