Tbh Kate’s Erdem dresses featured here are ok. I was thinking of the awful flowered, frilly ones that look like your nan’s curtains.

Now I can’t unsee the hairy chest!

And please can we send coat dresses to the bold tower? All of them.
I have never seen anyone in real life wear a coat dress, and I spend far too long pondering what on earth one wears under them.

Good point about coat dresses. I have also never seen an actual person wear one in real life. Maybe that's why they sometimes come across as costumey. To the pile they should go.

The purpley tweed is the only Erdem I've liked, everything else is too 70s party frock for my liking.
I'll nominate all if Kate's high cut round neck dresses, just because they make me feel constricted just looking at them.

Begone to Bold Towers those terrible Enid Blyton outfits they stick the mini Royals in. George in shorts and long socks.

I do have a soft spot for that tweedy Erdem and I quite like the bold colours of this one. I think it would've looked better without the ruffle at the bottom.

Photo of Catherine at the festival she went to, she looks so good in the off the shoulder top, very Grease like, and she looks great from the little we can see of her outfit. I wish she would wear casual clothes to events more often, aka Leitizia and Mary. She can so pull it off, but even when she does wear casual, they still seem a tad stuffy. I agree about the coat dresses, time to pass them on, they do suit her body shape but so very staid, same as the single colour trouser suits and high heels.

I like the coat dresses! Not practical to wear I agree (I do wonder if there’s a light dress underneath, without seems a bit saucy…)

I’m not so keen on the trouser suits, too Angela Merkel. Also as Catherine is long waisted I don’t think separates suit her as well.

I like the coat dresses, I wouldn't wear them but I don't have to look immaculate. They fit well, don't crease and aren't too fussy so she doesn't need to worry about errant fabric folding, coming untucked or going out of position. I see them as a bit of a royal uniform, they wear them because they work.

I see Kate's coat dresses as the same as me bunging on my lovely NHS uniform. She used to wear those floaty skirts that looked great on her but were always blowing up. The coat dresses are a uniform that aren't going to get her into trouble, much like George in his formal get up.

I also don't mind some Erdem stuff, I quite like the curtainy qualities.
