I imagine it would be bloody tricky fitting a shiny satiny fabric if you were blessed with a petite bosom.

I think it is a gold surround, @Sisterpita because the necklace is gold too. But not sure if it's pearl inside. I did think diamond but that would be a mahoosive sparkler even by royal family standards.

Kate looked gorgeous at the rugby and looks lovely on the rugby video also but, my gosh, she still seems v nervous speaking. Fair play to her tho as she really seems to find it hard and yet she signed up for it and is doing it.

@Papergirl1968 i thought too big for a diamond too. You’ve found a better close up than I could find. Clearly got sapphires at 4 points of the compass . It almost looks like a globe.

I think the bride lost a lot of weight just before her wedding, as many do; I think that sort of design must be difficult to adjust. Her dress has a similar top to the Duchess of Edinburgh's which was also too big, sadly, though otherwise lovely:

Lovely tiaras 😍! Did we see pictures of Maria's wedding? She looks absolutely beautiful. The Liechtenstein royals go under the radar a bit, but they have great gems. Princess Angela's wedding look remains one of my favourites.

Lovely picture of the then Wessexes on their wedding day! 24 years ago now. I'm glad that wedding tiara got a blingy upgrade.

Sophie's dress and tiara were a bit of a snooze but her bouquet was great.

The tiara was a gift from the late Queen. Sophie wore it as a courtesy. Her dress was a plain silk slimline dress, the "coat" over it was also silk. I think the fashion for huge skirts had gone, and the lace one hadn't got off the ground. I think it's one of those wedding looks that probably is more gorgeous close up.

Has anyone bagged the Anthemion tiara? If not…. 🤞🏼

Sarah AJ's is still the best 90s royal wedding dress for me. Metre Marit of Norway's, several years later, was similar.

I think she was simply elegant. I think I tend to lean towards these types of wedding gowns.

I’m not really one for snazzy.
