Lovely smelling shampoo

Want one! all recommends welcome.

Not fruity. Woody, sandalwoody or a deep pungent floral would suit.

Oily, very frequently washed hair. Sodding chore so may as well get something uplifting and pleasant out of it!

No particular budget, as it will be my luxury ’feel good’ item, along with naice soap as I don’t use shower gel.

TIA 🤗

I love Aveda Shampure.

MissHarrietBede · 24/07/2023 13:27

Ooh! Aveda is a good brand. Thanks!

I was going to say Shampure as well - it smells amazing.

MissHarrietBede · 24/07/2023 13:43

Best selling shampoo I've ever used to be sure.

Blingstar · 24/07/2023 13:45

Aveda invati is delicious. Also Kloraine.

ElinorDashwood68 · 24/07/2023 13:45

Definitely Aveda

mayaknew · 24/07/2023 13:49

Lush do a conditioner called American cream that smells amazing !! Not sure if they do a shampoo version though

Sequinsandfrills · 24/07/2023 13:50

For those on more of a budget, L'Oreal Dream Lengths (in the orange bottles) smells lovely and the scent really wafts about.

MissHarrietBede · 24/07/2023 14:08

Good to have budget options too, thank you. Will make a note of L'Oreal Dream Lengths.

Went off Lush after many purchases years ago, but may have a browse.

Kloraine is not a name I know well. Will look it up!

Faith in nature smells lovely.

Kérastase Specifique Bain Divalent Shampoo

I love their shampoos this one smells a bit minty though so not sure if it’s the scent for you?

blisstwins · 24/07/2023 14:34

Klorqine is lovely, but it has sulfates. If your hair is oily I would avoid and see if that improves the oiliness over time.

Tannedandfake · 24/07/2023 14:36

Aussie range

GardeningIdiot · 24/07/2023 14:39

Faith in Nature Geranium and lavender. It's not strong on lavender.

ferretface · 24/07/2023 14:42

Oribe! Very spendy though.

Babymamaroon · 24/07/2023 14:48

I've got Aveda scalp shampoo and it does not smell nice at all I don't think.

Do all Aveda smell the same?

I like Kerastase - the smell is subtle but fresh

SavvyMaria · 24/07/2023 14:51

Pureology smells lush.

MissHarrietBede · 24/07/2023 15:28

Wow! so many! will have to try a different one every so often! thank you, you lovely, fragrant haired posters! 😘

Aveda is heavenly.

Faith in Nature seem to have reduced the amount of perfume in their products. I can barely smell them now. I used to love them. Unless I've had Covid again without realising.

MissHarrietBede · 24/07/2023 15:35

I like Faith in Nature but yes not as rich an aroma as previously. I have their soap currently.

Kerastase smells lovely! (and is amazing quality)

Can't stand Aveda. I've used various different ones of their shampoos and it always leaves my hair a bit lank, likes it's a little greasy. Friends found the same.

MissHarrietBede · 24/07/2023 15:47

I did use a gorgeous smelling Kerastase condtiner when I had longer hair.
