The F&M one looks lovely. Must resist. Must resist.

I went for the F&M too. I think I’ll enjoy all the Bath products and I actually want a sleep mask 😴.

Well that’s the agonising done. F and M calendar ordered, just got to wait until September 12th now. Isn’t that when grouse shooting starts or something? In my mind it will be F and M delivery day from now on! Loaded and locked.

The glorious 12th is August.

cant seem to order the F&M calendar - ‘something went wrong’ is the helpful error message - surely it can’t have sold out already?

I can’t afford the F&M calendar as I was relying on my Beauty Drop credit to fund me this year. If the JL one looks good I’ll have that, if not I’ll do without.

The F&M one is too similar to last year imo, although not many people seemed keen on it last year 😊.

Think it’s time FM did a Liberty-type beauty drop/account. Just can’t afford the FM AC this year, beautiful though it is.

Yes a bit disappointed my F&M friends thing didn’t net me a £10 off etc. Agree it’s same-y and that’s why didn’t get last year, then regretted it.

The F&M box is beautiful, but for me, I don't feel like the contents justifies a £260 spend.

If they hadn't put two AA oils, and two mini candles in again, then I might have been more tempted. I already have too many sleep sprays eye masks etc that I rarely use.

I'm waiting to see what Flannels do. I'm not keen on S&G so I won't be getting Macmillan unless I buy it for Dsis if it gets reduced as usual. Might get the men's Baylis & Harding for DS if it gets reduced too.

Have just decided that I love Fortnum & Mason one. Clicked on it but only available for U.K postage !! They even gave the price in Euros to taunt me 😭😭

Really? This is what I see as soon as I open the website. I didn't even get as far as seeing the calendar. You obviously have yourself locked down a bit better than me in terms of geolocation.

Harrods is worse. They price in €, ship to Ireland but I finally realised when I couldn't find any beauty products they don't ship them to Ireland.

That happened to me with a lot of them last year too. When I would go to checkout, it was only then that it would say that it can’t be shipped

I can't use my BD credit to purchase and ship the Liberty calendar direct to me in the Channel Islands so I use a mail forwarder.
Is there any similar for you @TheDuchessOfMN @OchonAgusOchonOh @AnSionnachGlic ? It does cost me about an extra £9 but it's worth it to receive what I want!

Unfortunately not.

There is a mail forwarder (AddressPal) but the seller needs to provide an invoice that shows what's in the package and an awful lot of the products can't be sent through international post so they would just return to sender. Plus we would be done for taxes and tariffs, after having already paid the UK ones and that becomes a bit mad if the item costs more than €150.

I used to use the mail forwarder pre-Brexit and it was great.

If they would just tell you up front it wouldn't be too bad. Some of them will ship other stuff but not the advent calendar so it's not as if you can just know for a company. Perfumes a definite no-no. Liberty apparently swap out the perfume for something else in the international sales.

Same, I'm holding out that it might yet still. It would be a great perk.

I've just pre-ordered the F&M calendar. I loved it last year and while this year is very similar, at least I know I'll use all of the products which can only be a good thing. I've already got DS' sorted. Just need to find a calendar for DP now!

the FnM calendar has too many DoD for me. Multiple bath things when I only shower and a couple of candles I won’t use.

It’s been a difficult couple of years and I really want to treat myself, but none of the calendars so far seem right for me.
