Hello again! Thread 33 or something!

@Saurus72 - that dress is beautiful. I've been very tempted by quite a few in the sale but I just seem to have stopped wearing dresses - no idea why. I would buy it, admire it, and then hang it up and leave it there (like all my other dresses)
I have three more deliveries to come but one is a very speculative one - the black coffee linen shirt
still humming and ahhing about whether to pop into Toast tomorrow. I do really really want to try the Fracap mules - they looked lovely on the model in today's video

@Saurus72 - the oar check looks lovely on you! Can I ask what size it is - am I right in thinking that you ‘sized down’?

@dudsville - you also looked lovely in the oar check. I think you said which size you ordered but I have forgotten. Was it a S?

I am seriously tempted to order it, having seen how nice it looks on. But I am mindful of how much I have been spending/ordering and don’t really want to buy several sizes.

For reference: Blue sail stripe in M fit me, Pond in S fits, Linen sundress in L, (with ruched back), did not, (which was a bit horrifying 😱).

@faustina I’m exactly like that with tops, I really only buy jumpers and a few linen/silk shirts to wear with pinafores. I’ve finally realised there’s really no point on buying/keeping other tops because they just don’t get worn.

@Dee1224 This is a size M and it’s generous. I’m a real life curvy size 14 and most of my Toast dresses (I think well over 30 at this point…) are size 12 or medium. Sorry I don’t have any of the ones you listed so not sure if that’s helpful.

@Saurus72 The Oar Check dress looks really lovely on you, makes me quite envious, it didn’t suit me at all.

@Dee1224 my oar dress is a medium, plenty loose but I'm a hs 12/14. For reference, I fit into the small pond and the paint brush check but would have added some ease to the bust on those had i kept them.

Sorry you didn't get the extra jasper socks @Stoic123 . The other colours are calling to me, you might be hearing their siren call too!

Thanks @Saurus72 and @dudsville . It sounds like a medium would be best for me. I have stuff coming tomorrow so I will see how those items pan out and then make a decision on whether to try out the oak.

Toast Sale Day 30 (ish) and I've bought shorts. I don't own any, but this is not a gap in my wardrobe, i do not wear shorts. Reminds me of the sale when i nearly bought a bikini, which to be fair would have had even less of a role in my life. Anyway, with the sizing the way it is I'm presuming these won't fit. And maybe i won't like them anyway. Ffs.

You've made me feel better. I've bought something else in this morning's restock - the draped cotton linen dress in slate. I don't think the shape will suit but I know the colour will, and I love Toast's cotton linen material so figured worth a punt. The price (£65) is good as well. I've never tried this style on before and there seem to be a few dresses in it - so can scratch that itch.

At least I wear dresses 😂.

That's a really nice dress@Stoic123 ,i tried all of them in that style in a previous sale and the waist position didn't suit me, which is a real shame at the sale price. I hope you love your Day 30 purchase!

Sale day infinity. I've bought a loop back jersey sweater (never bought jersey from Toast before-my brain had FOMO) and the leather phone wallet thing - I think I've lost the run of myself!

@AFingerofFudge - I wear my loopback jersey all the time. Great weight and texture.

@Stoic123 I have that exact dress and I really like it. Would also like it in the yellow but that boat I think has sailed

How is the leather phone bag/thingy please?

@AFingerofFudge I got the charcoal and the green loop back early in the sale. They are great, and rather large.
