Yes @BettinaInDenmark - the crinkling of cotton tops and some dresses (often with a cute little matching bag to scrunch them up in), was a big thing with Boden some years ago! I still have one of the tops, (very pretty, but it no longer fits🙁).
However, I am not a fan of Toast’s new crinkled dresses as the crinkling just doesn’t do the material any favours imo.
@Countmeout - this could be complete nonsense, but the article I read as a student about not ironing said that every time something is ironed, the fibres of a fabric are altered, and in effect, the more something is ironed, the more it needs it.
If this is the case, (and certainly no one has ever noticed that I don’t iron anything), it would suggest that ironing out the crinkles would change the fabric in some way so that any attempt to recrinkle the ‘crinkle’ would just result in a wrinkle! Perhaps that’s what Nikki meant.
