Hello again! Thread 33 or something!

the final item on my list came back into stock this morning (slubby cotton linen shirt in XS) so I've ordered that and I think I'm done-phew!

Yesterdays orders (done separately as I saw them in stock) were the v neck tee in carbon, the green wool tencel (I have a couple of these and they are great in winter) and the garment dyed linen shirt in black coffee. Not too sure about this one. I have the pink smoke colour and it's a bit long on me so in the darker colour it might feel a bit too obviously long IYSWIM.

@Stravaig thanks for the save tip. I only use mobile so looks like it's not a feature, but I can bookmark posts on a thread, so I can go back to them so similar to a save. Like you I had been screenshotting useful posts previously.

My final order is coming today.

My other pink one is a large but it's generous on the shoulders so thought I'd try sizing down.

I too am still ordering, the navy gathered neck top this time. I have it in the chalk and I was surprised how useful it is. And a great bargain too.

I had another look, and while doing so was muttering to myself how i have to get off this thread if i want to shop less! Thankfully I've tried much of what's left!

Yes an early restock and I, too, got the gathered neck top in navy as I liked the chalk so well. I can see both being very useful.

On both the sale and the pinafore dress 🙈 I thought I was done with the sale so I had ordered some of the newer stuff to look at (Cotton Linen Canvas Pants, the Ginger Cardi, Blue Boat neck jumper),……..Then the drawstring waist denim dress came back into stock yesterday and one of each colour in the needle cord. Oh and I ordered the Cotton Linen pants in an additional sold out size, I nabbed them in a sneaky restock because I was browsing the sale that I was done with. And yesterday, because I was done with the sale, I also ordered a further dress and a tee. Because I was done with the sale. Done 🤦🏻‍♀️

I had a quick look again early this morning, was tempted by a couple of things but decided to take the dog out, luckily they were oos by the time I got back.

@Noodle421 they haven’t suggested a replacement only refund. The shoes are still in stock so I’d probably buy again, but I’d want to know why they changed colour.

@AFingerofFudge 😂 Absolutely. I’m following the rule that I have to see it in real life, to decide. My closest Toast store is about a 2hr drive. I have placed an extraordinary amount of orders this sale (most with 1 item because I check out before I lose the stock) but I have kept very little (6 items in total across about 30 orders so I think my username is a lie!) and there have been some keepers (namely the Sahara Yellow wrap dress) because I’ve just gone Ehhhh, throw it in and see. Good job my husband was away for the bulk Toast parcel arrivals

Yes I have followed pretty much your pattern- so many orders and kept about 7 or 8 items which is plenty. DH was away for the bulk of them arriving but now I'm away, he's at home and I have those 4 orders arriving ......

On a side note, I will be away for a couple of days in a city with a Toast store so I'm hoping to get in to look at the new season stuff. There is nothing even slightly calling my name but I will feel the fabrics nevertheless. Let me know if anyone has something they would like photos/details of.

@Countmeout it comes tomorrow so I shall report back. I’m sort of hoping that it’s the colour in the main unworn image, not the colour on the model but I fear I may be disappointed. We’ll see.

Sounds like the have returned to the original leather colour and the dye wasn't fixed. I know nothing about shoe dyes though!

That’s what it looks like to me @neveradullmoment99 . Although if that’s the case I can’t believe I’m the only one with this problem.

@Stoic123 did your extra jasper sock order get fulfilled? I got the delivery email today, so happy, that'll be 4 pairs of that sock!

I have some old wool socks from a Welsh sock making company. I don't wear them out anymore as they're too warm, but I keep them as they're in perfect condition. They get used as bed socks in winter. I have to say though, I also keep them in case there's ever a long drawn out dysotpian apocalypse. Anyone else keep things in case there's an apocalypse? I also have an old northface parka that got a hole in it that I keep for the same reason.

I sent back the pear alpaca tank which arrived smelling strongly of perfume.. Decided that it wasn't something that id wear really. And Toast only offered me a 10% reduction anyway ..
We are now away in Cornwall in the van and I am today wearing my lovely new dyed-coral red Emma tee.. ( was chalk) but I am really pleased with how it turned out .

Am hoping that if we have time we might go home slightly out of the way via Frome ..😉Possibly the sat nav will go wrong

Linen shorts a definite and immediate no - why are shorts so difficult? Straight back they go. Liked the length and the width, disliked the waist and the tummy and they flattened my bum too.

Goodness when is this sale going to be over! I placed my 'last order' 2 orders ago and now I have a dress on the way... and it's a size larger than my usual too, so a bit of a gamble to say the least 😬
Buuut I absolutely had to buy the Strata check dress after receiving the Maya dress (in pomelo). The cut is so flattering on my broad shoulders/flat chest.
They didn't have my size 10 in stock but crossing my fingers that the 12 will be equally as nice given the loose fit...

Anyway, does anyone else find themselves drawn to pieces in the sale that they never thought much of before? I think there's something about seeing the same items over and over again that makes us subconsciously desire it.
Most of the items I bought weren't even on my intial wishlist!

@happysoju , I struggle with ths so much and I don't fully understand it. I do think there's something to be said for he eye becoming accumstomed to a thing. I also think so many of the things that I love online turn out not to be so great in person, and then I take a punt on something bizarre and it turns out to be fabulous.

I agree @dudsville @happysoju. so far, my keepers from this sale have all been items I never looked at previously. And the alpaca cardigan on its way, which I tried on in another colour previously, and so should be a no brainer, will probably end up going back for some reason. Plus some things which I had on my sale wishlist, I never bothered to order when they made it to sale (drift check pinafore dress, for example). Weird.
