They are not particularly wide btw

I wear these..cheap and much more comfortable than bras.. but no uplift.. ( which I am not bothered about being so busty)

I buy these but I size up.
Some may hate the lace but I find it fine.
I step into these bralettes. So much easier to put on than going over your head.

I also have some TU lace bralettes which I wear under PJs so I don't frighten the pets or any unexpected visitors!
Thank you to whoever suggested asking for a partial refund on things that have dropped price.
I had paid £120 for the Drawstring dress and £75 for the Canvas Utility trousers but a £40 refund is winging its way back.
Just thinking I might get the mustard trousers or possibly Pond ?
Could anyone advise me how Pond comes up?

Very interesting to read about the bra options. I tried some bralettes but it was such a process to get into them! I find the best minimising option is glossies by gossard. which is very simple and non-padded (I hate padding with a vengeance)

Final (maybe) sales parcel today and I think I might keep both but mulling over the weekend.

• Cotton cashmere slate/ecru dress that @Saurus72 looks great in. Minuses: Boobage gap and buttons end too high up for me (but easily fixed). Similar stuff in wardrobe. Pluses: gorgeously soft material (wrapped in cotton wool), placket botton half so jumper over ok and fits both the WFH comfort and presentable for office boxes. Good weight. Colours suits.
• Herringbone Maple Trouesrs. Minuses: Toast nappy factor and colour a bit dull. Pluses: comfortable and fits WFH/office scenarios. Good weight and will suit all but hottest and coldest North England days.

Neither needed - comes down to would I grab them from the wardrobe vs other stuff. The time for gap filling long past.

@faustina - it's the Mexican Tile dress from a few years ago. A recent eBay purchase inspired by @Laska2Meryls who kindly gave some sizing and tassle advice too.

I ordered a medium in the cotton/ cashmere@Stoic123 and its loose and not gapey -would the next size up work?
The second one I ordered still has the band effect around the waist but smaller and the waist shaping isn't included so sent the first one back and used Quality issue on the return.
I hate to say it but compared to the second one it looked worn 😬

@Stoic123 I realised I forgot to mention the gap between buttons - I just pin it and it’s fine. I have to do that a lot with most dresses tbh.

I also have the maple herringbone trousers which were bought for wfh in the A/W. I have another pair of linen ones I bought in the last sale and they’ve been a good buy, if not the most flattering. Doubtful I’ll ever leave the house in them so could seem excessive however I like to get dressed ‘properly’ even wfh so these solve a v specific purpose.

@Alpacasoft , tempted by the Pond, lost track on the thread and the conversation on it but does it come up big?

Oh gorgeous! The Mexican Tile dress always makes me smile, some day I'll see it in the wild and embarrass myself being giddy about it.
