Camilla and Zara look great! I saw some footage of Camilla chatting to the ball kids and she was lovely to them.

Leti looks good, that's a rewear. Notice I've said rewear and not recycled! Pet hate. Anne is famously good at getting a lot of wear out of her clothes, even before that was fashionable! Remember BHS? My neighbour worked there and got very excited when Anne came in and bought a hat for £10!

DD saw both of them together on the Tube, she said they were very petite and also pretty, more so in real life than in photos.

I like Zara's dress - very flattering and wearable.
Leti looks good too, nice neutral colour and the spots are fun.

And Sarah Chatto at Wimbledon. Not much of her outfit is visible but as she gets older there is a definite look of Margaret about her, and perhaps Anne.

I'm really surprised Kate isn't taking more advantage of the royal box at Wimbledon.

She's a bit doomed if she does, doomed if she doesn't - if she's there too often she gets accused of being workshy, using her position etc.

She'll be there all weekend though I'm sure - for various finals?

I like Sarah Chatto's outfit. I think she's got the perfect royal spot - close enough to get lots of the benefits (like Wimbledon), but far enough away that most of us wouldn't recognise her in the street!

When your dd saw the York sisters on the tube, were they recognised and left alone @Ohpleeeease ? I assume they were using it to get about like normal folk not as some sort of official visit?
I do wonder what would happen if someone threatened them or crowds of tourists started crowding around them. How quickly they could summon the police if necessary (can you imagine the 999 call? Bea - Hello, this is Princess Beatrice on the tube. Operator - yes, of course it is dear. And I'm the Queen of Sheba. Now go away and stop wasting our time) or whether there were plain clothes protection officers in the same carriage keeping a eye on them.

I could hear their conversation.

There was at least one protection officer in the vicinity, if not two.

I like Sarah's dress. I think it fits her style. I imagine a Dioresque New Look big skirt might be a trifle hard to pull off in the stands at Wimbledon.

I didn't like Sarah's dress.
She could have worn a cotton cardigan to keep her cool with a pearl necklace and a cotton skirt.
Her style uniform suits her.

@Papergirl1968 I have to be honest, I can’t remember the details now as it was a long time ago, it was the Tube station, not actually on the train, I do remember that. She said they looked like normal, prettier than average girls, she’s a royal watcher so she knew who they were but perhaps they weren’t obvious otherwise.

And I like Sarah Chatto's dress. I think she has a strong innate sense of style. I can't see her ever succumbing to the tiers, bows, florals and fripperies that have so dominated fashion these last few years.
