Ah, if you have a mini Chanel handbag you have no need to carry a phone, wallet, house keys, paracetamol, wet wipes or Clearasil. A servant does that all for you! You'll just need a Chanel lipstick and a tiny lace hankie.

That is so cute! Chanel is alas a bit beyond my budget. I was thinking of taking my little Demellier bag (a style owned by both Megs and Cams!) but I can't fit a brolly in there and it looks like rain all day 😫

Ooh I’ve been looking at Demellier bags and wanted to know what they are like in real life. My heart was set on a APC one then saw it in real life and it wasn’t as nice as I thought it would be

I have one of those too @viewsoftheshard, a mini Demi Lune in gold. It's not particularly tiny but you can't fit very much in it - I've had to buy a smaller wallet to decant money and cards into when I'm using it as my usual wallet is too big! The Demellier I have is a red mini Venice and it's really well made and nice quality.

The green one that Camilla often carries is the one I lust after.

I have an APC demi lune, I really like it. Those Demellier bags do look good, I think Cams is forest green, which is a great colour.

I've picked up some hood bag bargains from Vinted and Vestiare Collective.

This weather is playing havoc with my Wimbledon outfit planning. I'd picked what I was going to wear right down to my sandals but it doesn't look like it'll be sandals weather now 😩 The one year I get tickets...

Good not hood, though looking at the forecast a hooded bag would come in handy!! ☔️

I'm really loving Kate's outfits this week from the green 80s jacket to the Saltire blue suit to her wedgewood dress. I feel like she is having a bit of fun and enjoying a slightly less rigid regime.

OK, so now it makes a bit more sense, him having had a couple of children pre-marriage I could never quite work out the attraction before!

(Although I am sure that he is a lovely, warm-hearted man. He always seems very jolly and jovial, anyway).

Hair loss is a funny thing, on some men it looks very sexy, on others…not. I do understand why some men (and indeed women) feel sensitive about it, the trauma of it is very downplayed.

That Albert photo is amazing. I may have thought Colleen Rooney was the other side of Di briefly.

Oh my gosh, Albert was not bad and quite dapper in his youth! He had such a beautiful mum of course.

@Maireas @KillingMeDeftly thank you so much for bag advice. I loved the look of the APC Demi-lune but it looked too bulky in real life. Perhaps I need to revisit as need a non black handbag bag. I bought a Strathberry bag in the sale at Christmas, but a dark teal green so doesn’t go with everything. Sorry to derail the thread!

You're not derailing! Go for taupe or tan - I tend not to have black handbags.

Funnily enough, I was just looking at a black demilune on Vinted because I don't have any black cross body bags!
