I have an array of jeans and beautiful tops but it feels too warm so looking for alternatives to my jeans. What are you all wearing?

@Blastandbollocks I recently got this from Argos on a whim when I was actually looking for a new pair of headphones. It's very light weight (albeit polyester) and both comfy and work-appropriate- it's midaxi on me (5'4") so would probably be a good maxi length on you.

I'm also living in a pair of lightweight chambray carpenter style jeans with rollup buttons at the bottom which I bought in the previous century. I'm dreading the day they develop holes.

Can't wear wide linen trousers' they look awful on me due to having fat stomach and flat butt. Currently wearing breezy sleeveless floaty maxi dress.
Does anyone have recommendations for shorts ? I have never found any that look even passable. Not too short as am 60+ and my legs are not as fab as they once were!

I am tall ish 5-7 but also bigger than I should be size 16 ish Bmi is 29

I feel super frumpy in mid lengths. Like the sign from the women's toilets

I am also very pale so don't like showing legs. I am 45 I should be at the "fuck what everyone else thinks " phase but then I see a photo of myself 🙈

Wide leg linen trousers and a fitted cotton cami top with strappy ankle tie flat sandals and a straw hat.

Linen trousers and yet more linen trousers mostly wide leg and a couple of pairs of straight leg. And I have a couple of pairs of the M&S cropped cargo trousers, that's as much leg as I'm prepared to show! Hush tee shirts on top and an open linen shirt if I'm going out in the sunshine because I am obsessed with not burning, I wear factor 50 and try and remain pale and uninteresting for as long as I can.

Denim skirts- I need to get some of these as the ones that I own are mostly too big but are mostly by Levi so I don’t want to charity shop them.

I wear drafty cotton harem style pants I love them. My legs are always cool

Denim shorts or a t shirt kind of dress.
I bought some magic trousers and they keep falling down and I have vpl in them. Chino shorts also do not feel comfy or look stylish on me.

Until today I’ve just been wearing jeans and a tee shirt or long sleeved top as until today it’s been pretty chilly where I live in the East Midlands.

I’ve put on a long loose linen dress today and am nice and cool.

I've just bought some cargo trousers. Too warm for today, but I think they will come in handy.

Tbh wearing midi pleated skirts which are about ankle length on me. Desperate to find some viscose or cotton ones though as my work ones are grim polyester. Great for not needing to iron but they leave a sweat patch when I get up from a chair which is embarrassing at best.

I bought some cargo trousers this week too @RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie from New Look, flat front, elasticated back (so really comfortable) & a very soft almost brushed cotton but as you say, too warm for today! I bought them in the petite so that they're more cropped...

Denim cut off frayed shirts today with a satin cowl cami and gladiator strapped flat sandals. It’s 28 degrees here - how is anyone wearing trousers????

It got to half a degree short of 30 here earlier. I’m wearing Hollister very short shorts and a tee shirt.

I bought some espadrilles from Primark and I wore this black tiered top with them, an under 25 (well she looked it!) told me she loved my outfit, so I was quite chuffed.

Nice. I’ve got an All Saints kimono that I’m hoping will work with them over a fitted vest top for evenings. Not sure about shoes though!

Wearing a t shirt dress but even with a healthy BMI I am still getting chub rub. How do people do it?

I’m currently sporting Nike Pros, a short grey tank top and white Nike sports socks. Do I look like a 14 year old? Yes. Do I care? Nope 😂.

Most of my other shorts are short denim ones and for work I wear just above the knee dresses or leggings and a T-shirt (we’re allowed to dress casually).
