Does anyone use Vick's vapo-rub as a moisturizer?

Today my friend told me she uses Vick's vapo-rub as an all-over body moisturizer every night.

Apparently she's done this for years and was under the impression that it was pretty common.

I'm under the impression she's an absolute nutjob.

As well as it being super moisturizing, she said she likes the cold tingly feeling 😱😱

Has anyone heard of this? Does anyone do it? Or does everyone do it and I'm just out here like a fucking loser with my body lotion?

I just use it most nights on the kids feets to ease their cough.

It does work.

Here I thought I was being all rebellious by using Night cream during the day.

Don't do this the retinol will cause sun damage.

If she uses that as a moisturiser, what go-to product does she apply/ use when she actually has a stuffy nose!?! Confused

A charcoal face scrub?
Retinol night cream?
Or maybe just screws up some face wipes and shoved them up her nose?

The night cream I use doesn't have retinol and I always use a separate SPF anyway.

Eh. It’s. A barrier not a moisturiser, she’s just wasting time and her sheets must be greasy as fuck. Like when you get grease stains from a pizza slice on a napkin 🤮

I even get annoyed if I need a wee whilst wearing a onesie. With a vest underneath.

Someone posted a question about how do other people wipe their bottom after a number 2, she was disturbed because she found out her husband stood up to wipe 😂 but then someone else came along to say they get completely undressed or they knew someone that does, even in public toilets and then the thread blew up as you can we'll imagine 😂😂😂

Whhhhhaaaat??? God no, I used some the other night on my nose and decided not to bother washing my hands and then had to, ahem, readjust a wedgie. Vicks Finger merely brushed my buttock.....I couldn't imagine that feeling all over my body!!!

She said she only uses a little bit. So I guess its a light coating - not too claggy and means she doesn't use too much.

I've never noticed her smelling of menthol. But she uses it at night so maybe that's why.

I'm so glad you all think this is mental. I was worried I'm missed a memo on the beauty benefits of Vick's 😅
