Our mascot is 3 tomorrow - this is the first of the birthday photos I think. 💙

Oh my !
He's not that chubby cheeked smiley baby anymore
He's all grown up.
Still got the smile though.

Serenster · 09/05/2023 15:06

He’s still an adorable toddler! 😍

LadyEloise1 · 09/05/2023 15:08

That Coronation Tailor programme was fabulous. So interesting and Patrick Grant too.
Mind you the owner's son gave him a fair run for his money. In fact.........😉

Has he already dropped some teeth? That's very early!

gluenotsoup · 09/05/2023 15:55

I wonder if he’s had a little accident? That’s too early to lose baby teeth I think 🤔

Premiumbondbaby · 09/05/2023 16:08

@Serenster that makes a lot of sense. The robes stayed in place really well so additional internal tailoring is a good call.

That's it @Maireas looking at that picture within a few years a few of the working Royals might not be up to it. I think they thought they'd have Harry and Meghan to do some stuff but that's unlikely. I'd not rule it out.

I think they're tempted to try and manage. I think the policy is set with the York family. Unless things really change.

Little Charles is so sweet! I'm looking forward to pictures of the new baby.

I have everything crossed that there's a 'big brother and baby' birthday picture tomorrow.

Maireas · 09/05/2023 16:57

I'm just so happy for them because I know it took a while 🌟

Kate has opted for a rewear at the garden party today. She wore this to Ascot, I think, a few years ago. It's far too fussy for my taste but she looks good, as always.

KillingMeDeftly · 09/05/2023 17:25

Forgot the photo! Sophie opted for a similar colour.

Re Kate dress I saw the original design which had a cap sleeve. Frankly it looked a lot better than the long sleeve. Sophie when you've a fine bosom avoid frills across and down it.

Sorry I sound bitchy don't I. 😳

gluenotsoup · 09/05/2023 17:44

I quite like that, even though there’s quite a lot of detail it’s elegant and hangs well. Sophie also looks lovely, but suits a more simple sillouhette more, it’s much more flattering when you have a generous chest 😊
I loved the coral dress from the concert though, Beulah maybe?

Maireas · 09/05/2023 17:45

A bit too fussy for both, but at least Kate's is a re wear.

That's nice, I thought Sophie looked lovely at the concert. Great moves as well ☝️

Sophie is very slim and very attractive with a lovely smile, I’ve stood a foot away from her at a service at St Pauls.

Maireas · 09/05/2023 18:45

I can imagine, @BorgQueen - I always think it's a bit unlucky if you have to stand next to Kate! Most of us would look a bit short and dumpy 😉

Not keen on Sophie's blue frock today - it's a bit too Little House on the Prairie for me. But the colour is lovely on her! Loved her concert dress and Kate's red trouser suit. Kate's outfit today is ok, the colour is good on her.

ArcaneWireless · 09/05/2023 19:44

I think exactly the same goosey

OttersMayHaveShiftedInTransit · 09/05/2023 20:01

Kate and Sophie have definitely coordinated today.

I remember a colleague meeting her in the mid-00s and said she was lovely and prettier than she appeared in photos.

But overall the "wilderness years" between Diana's death and the advent of Kate were not good for royal style watchers!

paradyning · 09/05/2023 20:22

Kate's dress was with an additional mantle
