The dress is absolutely lovely. Gorgeous colours.
I'm not sure about the jacket - maybe it's better with the belt. That carpet though - yikes!

Oh dear, Rania. It would be ok without the different colour. It doesn't work, really and the fabric is too shiny.

I don't like Sophie's clumpy tan Penelope Chilvers sandals but admire the work she is doing.

Ah, see @gluenotsoup - they're block heeled sandals so you get a pass! It's the white stilleto court shoes that I find a bit naff and Gatwick departure lounge c1986.

What do we think of the Hill House nap dress favoured by Beatrice? I can't decide if I love it or hate it but I'm in the US for the next week or so, so I may seek it out!

@KillingMeDeftly I thought I loved Bea's dress, until I saw the shoulders.

Maybe the big frills could be cut off, though.

I quite like the fabric, but for furnishings, not wear. She looks very pretty, though.

I agree with @RockaLock about the shoulders, but otherwise think it's really pretty. I guess I could also lose the white belt.

I’m sure I had that pattern wallpaper in my bedroom in 1960 when it was redecorated, but in blue.

I quite like it. I think it would look better with a different sleeve/strap, but it suits her.

The accessories work well with it too

Agree the dress is a bit frilly and annoying but the whole look is lovely on her.

I haven't caught up, but Prince Albert of Monaco speaks English in American 😲 I stupidly thought he'd be more Franglais IYSWIM.
There's a programme on Channel 4 about the history of the Monaco Grand Prix, including lots of his old F1 cars which are bloody amazing the lucky...Prince. 🤷‍♀️

@KillingMeDeftly I love the dress Bea is wearing...but I'd need to take some scissors to the shoulders.

Just to say - if you do watch the F1 programme, there's loads of film of Monaco, and there's some clips of Prince Ranier and Princess Grace, as well as Albert as a child. There's also some pretty catastrophic accidents.

His mother was American.

It's a fascinating documentary for anyone interested in F1.
