Are chunky sandals still in?

I like both of the attached, but can anyone recommend any in case I prefer them, please?

I really like this style, but have never worn them myself. Question to any chunky sandal wearers, do these styles generally flex with your feet as you walk, or do you end up walking in a bit of a clumpy way? They look so stiff, but as I say I’ve never tried.

They do seem to look best with pretty, top notch pedicured feet to avoid looking too harsh.

I’m interested to k ow how good they are to flexibly walk in.

I really can't decide!

I too would like to know what they're like to actually walk in. I can't stand having to break shoes in so although I like some of the DM sandals that really puts me off them. I also don't like anything that cuts me off at the ankle as I'm short in the leg.

I'm considering these from M&S or these Uggs or these from Dune

But maybe they're not in the same style as OP?

I feel this looks has to reach a minimum level of fuglyness to achieve fashionableness. If that makes sense? A level too low risks hitting frump i fear.

I have just brought the schuh one's on the right in pink, they are very comfy. I usually love an ugly birkenstock 🙂

Credit card spending is like Monopoly money and isn't real money, so I've ordered the Voss too and will return whichever one I don't like.....or will pass them onto you 😂

Excellent point. Although I love those sandals and I’m closer to 70 than 60. My stepdaughter tells me I’m far from typical though!
