Wedding guest dress - is this too informal?

I’m guessing a few of these will be coming up over the next few weeks!

I’m going to a cousin’s wedding at a country hotel this summer. There’s no dress code, but I don’t want to look too casual. I really like this dress - and while I’d typically go for more reddish/purple colours, I actually really like the green. I feel I could wear it again too.

I’m 5ft 11, big 12 to small 14 with dark colour hair and green eyes. I think the colours and pattern would suit me, but it’s a bit floatier than I’d usually choose, so I was wondering if something more “structured” might be better (more formal looking)? Views welcome:

Ooh I got this dress about 2 months ago in the darker blue colour and it is stunning.
I haven’t worn it yet but have a couple of summer things coming up.

Back to this dress! What shoes would go with it? I am imagining those wedge espadrille things might look nice, but I don't want anything too high. Seeing as I live in trainers and DMs, I'm not up with these ladylike things, so any advice would be very welcome 😣

It's a gorgeous dress, just perfect for a wedding. Have a look at these lovely gold block heels from Next, very comfortable and a soft insole. I didn't even have to take Ibuprofen before I wore them 🙈

Just to redirect this… I ordered this dress off the back of the thread and it arrived today. I really like it so thank you. Also think you’ve started a trend and this will be like the Zara dress a few years ago that everyone seemed to have. Hopefully we can all avoid each other 😂
