Wedding guest dress - is this too informal?

I’m guessing a few of these will be coming up over the next few weeks!

I’m going to a cousin’s wedding at a country hotel this summer. There’s no dress code, but I don’t want to look too casual. I really like this dress - and while I’d typically go for more reddish/purple colours, I actually really like the green. I feel I could wear it again too.

I’m 5ft 11, big 12 to small 14 with dark colour hair and green eyes. I think the colours and pattern would suit me, but it’s a bit floatier than I’d usually choose, so I was wondering if something more “structured” might be better (more formal looking)? Views welcome:

I’m a similar size to you and same height (hair and eye colour too actually haha!), and this is 100% the type of dress I’d wear to a wedding and have done in the past 😊

Also think the dress is lovely. But I agree too about the polyester but you can't avoid it. I am sick of clicking on lovely dresses and smart trousers from high end high street shops to find they are 50-100% plastic type fibres. Knitwear too. It drives me crackers. Even places like Me & Em or Reiss. They excuse themselves on the grounds that it is recycled.

This is an aside though OP - buy the dress you will look lovely and finding similar in a cotton voile will be impossible.

It would be on the informal side for a bridesmaid dress, but even if it's the sort of very formal wedding where the ushers are in morning dress you could get away with this (and a nice hat)
