I had a look as they've got a sale coming up but failed to see anything I liked.

Can anyone recommend anything to have a look at? I am mid 40s size 12 very average.

Don't be tempted. The absolute worst online shopping experience I've had and god knows I love to shop. They have a hidden clause in their T&Cs which means if you send anything back you get a credit note instead of a refund. Customer service is awful. Took months and months of tooing and froing for me to manage to get a refund. Never again.

they do accept a return BUT you have to do it in 14 days which is the bare minimum distance selling regs allow. So not a generous policy on returns but legal. Worth knowing! I buy their stuff off ebay which is better for returns!

@Sisisimone You can return anything up to 365 days. It's at their discretion if you get a refund or a credit. Unless it's changed, they had a 3-month refund policy (not sale goods) for a full refund to CC.
