Morning, evening, anything you do less frequently (e.g. weekly masks) and any treatments or procedures you have.

I've recently got better after years of semi-neglecting myself and basically just moisturising when I remembered.

Currently, mine is...

Morning:
Wash with water
Sali Hughes Placid
Sali Hughes Must-C serum
No7 Protect & Protect Intense Eye Cream
Sali Hughes Cream Drench moisturiser
Nivea Sun Shine Control SPF 50

Evening:
No7 Radiant Results Nourishing Melting Gel Cleanser
Olay Retinol 24 Night Eye Cream
La Roche-Posay Retinol B3 Serum
Sali Hughes Cream Drench moisturiser

it's only been a couple of weeks but I think I'm seeing improvements. My skin is definitely soft and a bit glowier. I'm hoping for more even tone over time.

A week ago I got Botox to get rid of my permanent frown and that really has made a difference.

I'm 33 but think years of bad nights with two terrible sleepers has aged me.

Morning - Biore Rose Quartz face wash. Simple Micellar water. Boots Glow serum. Simple light moisteriser.

Evening - Facetheory clarifying cleanser. Simple Micellar water. Occasionally Simple light moisteriser, if I feel I need it.

So1invictus · 22/03/2023 10:07

Morning:
N7 cleanser, just to wipe off night time product etc.
L'Occitane hydrating toner - little bottle from an advent calendar. Haven't used ordinary toner for years but by gum this is lovely. Will probably buy a full bottle.
N7 Vitamin C
Moisturizer: currently la Roche Posay Toleriane Dermallergo as skin got a bit irritated with wind and rain.
Spf50 Garnier for face.

Evening:
N7 gel cleanser to get make up off (won't repurchase, only got it as the fabulous balm cleanser was out of stock)
Superdrug vitamin E for second cleanse
Alternate nights: nothing except serum (currently Missha dupe of ANR) /Pixi Glow/ Tret 0.05
Moisturizer LRP Dermallergo
Sometimes : Clarins Blue Orchid on top. Won't repurchase. No better than any other facial oil.

The products are variable, routine stays the same. Only repurchase up there is the Superdrug cleanser and the N7 vitamin C.

So1invictus · 22/03/2023 10:08

Oh, the Missha is also a second bottle. I think though for a hyaluronic serum when this is finished I'll just stick with Hada Labo or Vichy.

bakewellbride · 22/03/2023 10:11

I'm 33 with 2 young children.

Soap and water
E45
In the mornings I mix factor 50 sun cream into my foundation.
Every so often I'll treat myself to a face mask.

That's it!

HiddenGiraffes · 22/03/2023 10:11

@So1invictus do you really recommend the balm cleanser? I might get some to try.

OP posts:
Hoppinggreen · 22/03/2023 10:14

Don’t have one.
Im 50 with hardly any wrinkles - being fat helps

Emotionalstorm · 22/03/2023 10:16

Cosmedix oil cleanser
Cosmedix reboot serum
Allies of skin retinol and peptides night cream
Heliocare 360 oil free sun cream
Cosmedix opti crystal eye cream

Baldieheid · 22/03/2023 10:21

Morning
Cerave non foaming wash off cleanser.
Superdrug glycolic acid toner
Hada labo hyaluronic serum if I feel dry
Cerave moisturiser

Evening
Cerave non foaming wash off cleanser
Superdrug vitamin e serum
Superdrug vitamin e night cream
No 7 eye cream

I wouldn't buy the hada labo again, mainly because I like the superdrug vitamin e serum just as much and its cheaper I think.

OooohAhhhh · 22/03/2023 10:25

Wash my face in the shower when I wash my hair (around once every 4 days). Use Olay fragrance free 7 effects moisturiser every day.

I absolutely love it. My new holy grail.
Balms I've used in the past (Clinique, Boots Botanics, Elemis, Body Shop -all good, the Elemis was another advent calendar one, and a beautiful texture but I'm not about to pay £40 for something that hits my face for 30 seconds then goes down the plug) This N7 one is brilliant. Big pot, very nice texture (the Botanics one sometimes went a bit crystally) I'm not in the UK and DD is coming over next week with as many pots of it she can fit in her suitcase 🤣

happysingleversary · 22/03/2023 11:45

Morning
Mild scrub, St Ives oatmeal
EpiDuo acne treatment
Cheap moisturiser with pure hemp oil all over face

Twice a week scrub with St Ive's apricot

If going out Charlotte Tilbury wonder light moisturiser

Evening same as morning

I get new products when I have money and try different things.

Courgeon · 22/03/2023 12:00

Morning body shop camomile cleansing balm,
Then an acid toner (think superdrug one currently)
Ren plumping emulsion
Ren sensitive skin serum
Roche posay anthelios F50 lotion

Evening
Ren clean canvas gel oil cleanser
Acid toner
Ren sensitive skin oil then overnight recovery balm

The odd mask, such as body shop overnight repair. Ren glycolic mask.

My skin is fairly plump and glowy, very few wrinkles. Nearly 50 but people often think I'm about 36. Tried prescription retinol including tretonoin but it worsened my redness and irritation (I have sensitive skin) however some people swear by it. A decent SPF is a skincare essential.

Buttalapasta · 22/03/2023 12:12

Morning
Wash face in shower
Moisturising cream
Mascara

Evening
Take mascara off with cream cleanser

Not much of a routine! 😄

Sparkletastic · 22/03/2023 13:02

Morning:

Healthspan face wash in shower (beautiful balance of cleansing without drying and smells amazing)

Garnier anti age spots spf 50

Evening:

Nivea Waterproof eye makeup remover
Beauty Pie Japanfusion cleanser
The Ordinary Glycolic toner
Revolution Niacinamide
Hada Labo HA with retinol
Beauty Pie retinol serum
Origins eye cream

I'm 51 with oily sensitive skin.

TheOGCCL · 22/03/2023 13:36

Morning

Want to experiment with jojoba oil.

TheOGCCL · 22/03/2023 13:38

Waiting for the posters to come along who are in their 60s, but apparently everyone mistakes them for being 15, and they only use a 10p bar of soap and toilet water to wash their face with. 🤭🤭🤭

Don't forget the bar of soap is applied with the same scrubbing brush they do the lav with!

I've been blessed with good genes but I also have been a skincare anti aging addict since my early 20s and I'm 39 now. My skin looks great even if I do say so myself! I've used so many different things over the years but my current routine is
AM:
No7 protect and perfect eye serum then Boots Collagen moisturiser with SPF 30. I then follow with a foundation with SPF factor 50. - I don't cleanse in the morning.

PM:
I cleanse with superdrugs B melting cleansing balm, it's really gentle and great at removing mascara. I just use water and my hands. I then use an ordinary flannel to wash and gently exfoliate with warm water. I then use my Skin+Me which contains Tretinoin 0.027% (I got up to 0.03% but found it too strong , this strength works best for me) Niacinamide 4% and Azelaic acid 4%. I follow this with cerave or no7 protect and perfect after about 30mins once the skin+me has soaked in. I usually use skin+me 5 days out of 7 or I get irrigation on the 2 days I don't use it I use a barrier culture moisturiser by The Nice company. I sometimes use and eye serum but usually just use my moisturiser around my eyes.

Skin+me code for a free month if anyone wants it just £3.50 p&p

Am
Nothing Blush which is bad but I've got out the habit and need to start again!
Used to
Cleanse - any lotion type cleanser
Vitamin C
Moisturise
SPF

Pm

Pre cleanse/eyes bioderma micellar
Cleanse - balm/oil/gentle foam. I like soap and glory peaches and clean and pharmacy green clean
Skin and me
Moisturise - using skin and me at the minute

If I don't use skin and me then I use an exfoliating acid and a serum, elemental herbology do my favourites

BeretRaspberry · 22/03/2023 22:50

AM
•wash with Rovectin Conditioning cleanser
• Klairs Supple Preparation Toner
• Iunik Black Snail Mucin Serum
• Altruist SPF50 Face Fluid (instead of specific moisturiser)

PM
• Cleanse with The Ordinary Squalene cleanser to remove SPF and/or makeup (if worn)
• cleanse with the Rovectin again
• Klairs Toner again
• Inuik Serum again
• Altruist 0.5% hyaluronic acid face fluid with urea
• Every other night Dermatica formulation of Tret 0.015%, Niacinamide 4% and Azelaic Acid 4%

Approx once a week swap one of the Dermatica nights for Paula’s Choice 2% BHA.

I’m 47 and this keeps my 25 fight with acne under control. I also have no lines apart from a few round my mouth. I still have mahoosive pores, regardless though.😬😩

Minirrriot · 22/03/2023 22:56
