There was speculation about a low-key coronation with daywear when the date was announced but I thought Charles had backtracked on that?

As we are showing off our Coronation crafting I'm working on a commemorative crocheted blanket. It should start to get blingier over the next week or two as so far the sections represent Charles' military career, his environmental interests and his love of painting. The next section is to represent the crown jewels. I am planning a little adaption to mark Mr Aiminlife's participation on the big day.

@latedecember1963 I can't take any credit for the design of the blanket - it was created by Designed by Anita I'm just responsible for the slightly wonky hooking. I'm really looking forward to getting onto the gold, purple and jewels and making a tiny crown, orb and sceptre.
