It’s the Fergie edit ladies. Fergs has been out n about. I’m gonna say yay to the blazer and jacket combo and nay (sorry!) to the midi dress. The picture might just be a terribly unflattering shot.

Next up is the Mathilde edit, on a state visit to South Africa. Out- Pringling Max in the hat department we might say. Love the formal gown though. The pink dress might have benefited from being a little longer but that might have been the angle of the photo. Blue dress not sure if it is a nod to a local design or pattern, or made by a South African designer. I like the print and makes a change from Mathilde going full colonial Tin Tin.

Fergie. What can you say? I quite like a full skirt, but with that jacket it looks a bit costume-y. The less said about the other outfit the better.

Mathilde's blue & white print dress is by Odile Jacobs, who is based in Bruges, and specialises in combining African fabrics with European clothing shapes. One of her design trademarks is using large gathered sleeves.
By using the fabric in different directions on Mathilde's dress, she's given the garment a rather Op-Art vibe I think.
It's certainly different from Natan!

Tonight Mathilde & Philippe are hosting a concert, and Mathilde is wearing a gorgeous Dries Van Noten dress in a fabulously flamboyant floral fabric! 🌺 🌸

Mathilde is a very safe, conservative dresser and when she decides to take a walk on the wild side it just looks, well, very odd.
