Anne looks well put together at Cheltenham today. I like the navy suit with the red buttons emphasising the fine red check in the navy tweed. I like her jaunty trilby with its gold horse brooch. I often pin a brooch to a hat, so I'm glad I'm not alone!
Horse brooches have been quite the thing at Cheltenham this week: a day or two ago Camilla was wearing a gold jewelled horse brooch given to Elizabeth for her 90th birthday.

Kate looks fabulous and I love the button No and spacing detail.
I'm not always good at spotting family likenesses but Anne has her Mum's smile in that lovely photo.

I've found another tiara that I'd like to add to my collection please @Maireas although having been passed through the Prussian line, it's now in a museum but I figure if we're hitting BP anyway what's another jewellery heist between friends?

I really like Kate's Saint Patrick's Day ensemble, she looks so good in those deep jewel colours, and it's such a change from her usual green!
l love all the little details, the flared buttoned cuff, the shoulder pads, the shoulder darts, the neckline, the covered buttons!
I especially love the hat, with its twisted pleated plume, surely influenced by the military plumes on dress uniforms.

Beautifully cut and trimmed coat with fabulous details. Strong Aer Lingus head stewardess married to a pilot vibes off it. In the pics on Twitter the green of the coat and shamrock green don’t tone fabulously.

That's another beauty, @frugalkitty - does it have a name?

I like Kate's outfit but agree it's very cabin crew.
I crouched like her the other day to look at a notice in my local pharmacy. I couldn't bloody get up again and had to go down on to my knees, and heave myself up using the shelving. Even so it took several attempts - so embarrassing.
I could pretend it was because I'm recovering from neurosurgery (brain tumour removed three and a half weeks ago) but the truth is it's nothing to do with that and everything to do with being 54 and very overweight!

I thought Kate looked fabulous today, loved the colour. The coat was just perfect, though I would have jewelled the whole thing up!

I don't think it does from what I read earlier. It's pretty though.

Myaiminlife · 17/03/2023 22:15

@Papergirl1968 I hope the surgery went well and you are on the road to recovery. 💐

@Papergirl1968 I hope the surgery went well and you are on the road to recovery. 💐

I'm doing great thanks - I get tired if I do too much but I feel like a new woman!

frugalkitty · 17/03/2023 22:20

Wishing you a speedy recovery @Papergirl1968 💐

SqueakyDinosaur · 17/03/2023 22:41

<lobbies for frugalkitty to change her name to flauntingextravagantkitty>

<goes looking for more tiaras for herself>

Papergirl1968 · 17/03/2023 22:53

Thanks frugalkitty. And love your taste in tiaras!

Spudlet · 17/03/2023 22:54

Found you! I know we’re going back a few days, but the Commonwealth Service Erdem suit… I actually liked it [gulp]. What’s happening to me?!

CliffsofMohair · 17/03/2023 23:16

I am here to renounce the Erdem commonwealth suit. Mary Poppins gone royal.

Maireas · 18/03/2023 05:56

@frugalkitty - Prussian tiara ✔️

Also, have you got enough bling for the Coronation? We're all wearing our tiaras and assorted gens.

@Papergirl1968 hope you feel better soon 💕
@frugalkitty I quite agree - your name should definitely change to notatallfrugalkitty with your jewel haul 😂😂

I have just read that Louis will be at the coronation. Awww.

Well he certainly provided entertainment at the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, so hopefully he will bring the same fun to the coronation!

Maireas · 18/03/2023 09:01

He's a character! It would be a shame if he missed out, so it's nice that the three siblings will be there together.
I suspect not in coronets.

Can't wait for the Louis memes!

KillingMeDeftly · 18/03/2023 09:46

It appears that Joachim and SWP are moving to the US this summer. Perhaps he and Harry can form the Disillusioned Spares club! That was just a joke btw but I'm not sure Daisy handled the situation well.

gluenotsoup · 18/03/2023 09:46

Nice to see all three children will be part of it. They’re sort of already becoming used it these events aren’t they? Otherwise it wound very overwhelming for them.
Hope you are on the mend @Papergirl1968 💐
@frugalkitty - I’m sure you must have the best collection on the thread. That’s another beautiful tiara, it’s very Maid Marion with a long, medieval gown 😍
