I’m a bit guilty of always looking just at the Royal women, but you are right there, I’ve seen Mike in more flattering clothes. I think the jacket he’s wearing is too boxy for his frame, he suits something that’s lengthening and sharp to offset his rugby players shape.
Max’s grey suit on the other hand is very flattering to her beautiful figure, she certainly knows how to dress. ♥️

Happy St. Patrick's Day, y'all. As I think most of you know, it's a very big thing in the US, whether you are of Irish descent or not. In fact, it's been described as a sort of national immigrants day for all who are members of any diaspora, which of course, is most of us.

Kate looks gorgeous today! The fit of that coat dress is amazing! Teeny quibble I'd have gone for plain diamond earrings not the emeralds.

With three grandparents bearing the name of O'Hara, Moore and Kelly. The other one was a McKinnon from Scotland. I think I can claim Irish heritage. Spent enough time crossing the Irish sea visiting 🤣🤣

If you enlarge the pic of the POW before she’s presented with the shamrocks you can see what looks like a small stitch in the fabric of the coat just where the shamrocks will go. I’ve always wondered how brooches, regalia etc. are attached to all those beautiful expensive fabrics without causing any damage. Still not sure how it works though. Is it stitching or something else? Angela Kelly would be able to tell us. Shame she isn’t on here. 😀

Love Kate's turquoise ensemble. Very elegant.

I can see that Kate's turquoise coat/coatdress is a beautiful fit, but I really don't like the collar or the darting on the shoulders. I'm also not keen on the frills on her hat. However, she looked polished and poised as ever, and she was admirably undaunted by the awful weather.

I like the 40s vibe of today's coat and it nice to see her try a different shade of green. My only quibble is that it looks a smidgeon too tight over the hips, although maybe that's just creasing from her journey.

I love Catherine's outfit today. So flattering and a beautiful colour on her.

Also, I'd love to know more about Kate's hair products. Her hair remained sleek and smooth even after standing in driving rain - mine would have been a frizzy mess. I use various frizz-reduction products but none of them would have withstood those conditions. What is her secret?
