I'm dithering over this dress - anyone got it? I love the colours and the pattern.

@JulesJules I have this dress - bought early December and have worn it lots. I love the sleeves and how it's cut.

@JulesJules it's one of the dresses I have ordered in the sale interested to see what colours are like in real life...

Now I'm seriously tempted... Is it true to size, or loose fit? Not sure about the 'new' sizing. I've got older Toast dresses in M

@JulesJules I took a 6 in that dress. High street I'm an 8-10.

@JulesJules I have that dress - wore it yesterday in fact, I really like it. It’s quite a 70s vibe with the sleeves, which is all good from my perspective 😊. Re: sizing - my usual Toast dress size (before the ‘new’ sizing) is 12 but I bought this in a 14 - it’s a bit more fitted around the middle. I’m a curvy 14 IRL. I’ve added some pictures in case it’s helpful.

I have been looking at the duffle coat currently on sale - does anyone have it? I am very tempted by it!

@RockaLock I’ve ordered the duffle in my usual Toast 8 , it won’t arrive until mid week so not in time to help you.
There were so many positive reviews which clinched it for me.

My main dilemma, really, is that I have some Russell & Bromley loyalty vouchers expiring at the end of the month and so I was planning on buying a pair of boots, not a coat!! I mean, I could stretch to both...

How does that dress wash? I always seem to shrink viscose!

@MaroonedOnADesertIsland I wash it in the machine on hand wash setting at 30degrees. In fact almost all my clothes go on this setting - no shrinkage issues.

Got the Buffalo check coat this morning, it’s too big! I bought a 10 because I knew it was going to be oversized but I think I could have tried the 8 but it’s gone now. Nice coat though really like the colours. Returning!

I’m new to Toast but am being swayed by the green Melton coat. Do any of you have it? In particular would you go 12 or 14 if inbetween and how is the length (I’m tall, 5ft 9)? And overall does it justify the not inconsiderable price tag for loveliness?

I only have a couple of nightdresses arriving as I was very restrained this time .. but also socks .. Toast socks! My first pair ! Am ridiculously excited about potentially joining the Toast Sock Lovers Party .. 😀

@blueskiesrule .. I have the Melton peacoat and can confirm that it is really lovely, beautifully made and warm .. I think that the coat is oversized ( the peacoat is ) so I would go down in size ..

@blueskiesrule I’m also in love with the forest green Melton overcoat , it is absolutely gorgeous.
I tried in store a couple of times, my usual Toast 8 was a perfect look, quite long and roomy buy stylish . The problem was the sleeve length , much too short for me and very noticeable . There didn’t seem to be any possibility of lengthening them.
Although it’s much reduced I passed on it in favour of the duffle this time , mainly because of the sleeve problem but also because of lifestyle and cost per wear !

I’m thinking about trying the parka in Hickory. Do we know what time the sale ends?
