Dupe thread (saving money)

Hi all,

I'm sure months and months ago I saw a general dupe thread but it's seems to have gone(happy to stand corrected and delete this one if this is a double).Since I can't be the only one who's feeling the crunch financially though thought I would share some of my dupes I really rate

Foundation- double wear Estée Lauder (especially for those pale people with no colour to their skin - mine doesn't seem to have either pink or yellow tones)
Top contenders - rimmel 24hr stay (lots of colours available)
And primark foundation (one in square bottle) - (less colour range but if you have your match) it's literally better than the new EL one in my opinion.

Fashion - Skims dresses - (bare with me I have a teen in the house and she's obsessed with skims) but it's massively pricey - found on SHEIN exact shape of one of the black dresses with long arms

I'm told super comfortable.

@AlotIsntAWord have you tried the e.l.f poreless putty primer? It's a pot rather than a tube but I find it a similar texture to benefit.

I find with dupes sometimes it's nice to hear if people rate it as I'm always a bit suspicious that it might be some marketing ploy. That said I'm suspicious naturally by nature (I'm not raining on your suggestion). I just wish I could see user generated feedback on dupes - I feel like a website like that would be really valuable.

I read in a magazine last week that Zaras Apple perfume is a dupe for chanel chance, but I haven't smelt either 😁

Ordered a fantastic jumper yesterday with the free Sunday shipping and it arrived this morning. So obviously a UK return! Neatly packaged with tissue and spare button too!

This one. It comes in variety of colours. I ended up with a 30% discount so paid £13 for it. I've got some cargos I love too. I'm starting to put some stuff on my wishlist and I will cull when ready to order. I've seen a great winter coat that I'm hoping will get reduced too.

@Rollerbird oh it's fab, I love it, and I do love their great offers/vouchers, I'm trying to get my points right up so it's more money off, I've got nearly 2000 so far and I've got about 4200 items in my wishlist🙈(I know, I know, i just keep seeing more dresses and cardi's and ive got my eye on a few handbags, my weakness) I seriously need to sort it out! Keep an eye out on the flash sales your coat might end up in there🤞
Have you tried the make up yet, the lipstick is defo a dupe for chanel, wears amazing and lasts hours!

A dupe thread talking about moisturisers that are similar but cheaper to their celebrity counterparts is not in the same hemisphere field as a company that is basically raping the planet for its own gain.

Re: magic cream. I have used both Charlotte Tilbury and Revolution and they are different. For the record I use skincare / make up of all prices. I think CT cream is overpriced but it is excellent. I want to try Tatcha now. Heard such great things - any dupe recs?

My favourite perfume of years, Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia, has been revamped and I don’t like the new scent 😞 does anyone know of a good dupe for the original? Or even a website that’s good for looking them up?

Perfume parlour? Never used it myself but have seen recommendations on here.
