As always, everyone is very welcome - we're most definitely open to Newbies. Come and discuss your Scent Of The Day (SOTD), old favourites, new infatuations, the best dupes and scents of any price point. We are very friendly! 😊

They are OK, quite simple, and I find worth probably the old prices (around 30/40 GBP for 100ml TOPS), I think I like the con cept more than the execution.

SOTN is Vanilla 28. I am keen to try the new Patchouli-vanilla iteration of this, but might opt for the pp version instead.

SOTD is Nishane Ani

SOTD Lotus blue by Roger & Gallet. I have a headache at the moment so this is unobtrusive enough for me today.

SOTN is Shalimar, which seems to be my scent for Lent. Well, I always did think it Easter-y. 🐇

SOTD Miller Harris Secret Gardenia.

I tried a sample of the new Elie Saab Elixir last night. It is apparently iris/amber but it smelt fruity to me (I think there's also mandarin in there), with an ambery base. It smells similar to a few other things out there - I thought it was similar to a couple of Jimmy Choo scents I've tried - and also quite synthetic and potentially headache inducing for me.

SOTD Ambre Narguile again, for a cold and snowy day.

@SnowLemons Creed Windflowers was not for me either.

I am wearing W green by Roberto Verino. Super citrusy and uplifting. I like it but it is quite strong I would not wear it in summer

SOTA (scent of the afternoon!) is my new Ormonde Jayne Sakura. I sampled in store a couple of weeks ago, and loved it, so caved and bought a full bottle. It is a cherry blossom fragrance - but with other florals too - that has an unmistakable OJ dna, with similarities to Osmanthus in particular. But there is a bit more going on, in a good way.

I note @missbattleaxe also gave it a good review on her blog.

I’m not a big fan of either very citrussy or white floral fragrances, so can see this being a spring staple.

SotE: L'Occitane Ambre. Good resinous/sweet amber.

I’ve just ordered the Kayali sample set, so my no spend on perfume March lasted all of seven days 😂

Escentual has extended the 25% of fragrance deal, I really don't need to buy anything more but offers like that are so tempting.

SOTN is Opium, because we had snow this morning. It was quite a good covering - everywhere coated in a beautiful winter blanket. Sadly, it is all gone now, as it has rained non-stop all day. It is good I am not going out tonight (not that I ever do) as I am absolutely smothered in Opium, having accidentally over applied. I forgot how powerful this stuff is! Hopefully it will dissipate a bit before bed. ❄️☃️🎄

SOTD is Amouage Imitation Woman. Its a floral chypre with blackcurrant and smoke in the dry down. So beautiful
