Does anyone think they've maybe changed Mitcham ? I've been using it for a long time ( the push up variety ) but it isn't lasting on me or dh as usual .

The powder fresh stick still works well for me and smells the same as it always did but it is a pain to find it in stock anywhere! I bought 5 in Superdrug the other week when I saw them.

Just cracked and am trying Dove, after years swearing by Mitchum - like so many others here I was completely perplexed about why it was no longer working. I was also reacting to it (itchy etc) as well, in a way I never had before.

I tried Dove, Sure and Vichy, all the max strength options.

They all worked, I like Sure and Dove best as quicker drying than Vichy.

Never going back!

I thought this was just me and another peri joy.
I always used the powder fresh and it worked so well.

Around Christmas time I noticed I was sweating a lot more than usual and I didn't like the smell
Also felt itchy.

I had botox under my arms a couple of weeks ago and can't believe the difference it has made and have switched across to dove deodorant. Which smells really pleasant and clean.

Tesco here had loads and at a lower price for Clubcard holders.

I bought the Sure Maximum but I really don’t like the twist dispenser.

Hallelujah!!!

Mitcham deodorant - Has it changed ?
teneastereggs · 01/04/2023 13:55

Yes. The roll ons used to last me a couple of days they were so strong. Now they're just like any other deodorant and not even effective for a day.

I've been using Mitchum for many many years but it doesn't work the way it used to, WHATS HAPPENED?

Trez1510 · 18/01/2024 05:31

Another baffled Mitchum user. For the first time in decades I caught a whiff of BO on myself. I was genuinely mortified and there was only me there! Will be trying Sure and Dove now thanks to posters who have suggested those.

I've never had a problem with Mitcham anti-perspirant , I do have three I use on rotation though . I use the cream , gel and Sure cream . I do dry them thoroughly with a hairdryer though .

chucklevisions · 18/01/2024 06:25

Slight tangent here but Mitcham rollon users… does it actually dry on you? I have to get the hairdryer out to dry mine! Which feels a bit daft (and a faff)

ruralwanderer · 18/01/2024 06:45

Interesting - I haven't noticed a change in smell but I've suddenly developed an allergy to Mitcham after using it for years so have assumed that they've changed something in the ingredients.

That’s why I switch to the stick-dries instantly!

Glad to have found this thread, I have used the Mitchum stick for years and really rated it. However I developed an underarm rash after using my current one ( powder fresh) Has anyone else experienced this?

ruralwanderer · 18/01/2024 15:49

Yep, I had blisters in my armpits which only resolved when I stopped using Mitcham.
