Your favourite soap?

I prefer soap to shower gel have used L'occitane, English soap company are nice and I used to like Crabtree & Evelyn Goatmilk until discontinued.

Currently Dove but I find Dove joyless to use. I like a soft lather that leaves my skin feeling moisturised and smelling lovely.

What's your favourite lovely smelling soap please?

L’occitane verbena, but you’ve probably tried that one

I'm using this one at the moment. I use it with exfoliating gloves, it makes a nice-smelling lather and my skin never feels dry afterwards.

I love the Shea one. Soft skin and a subtle lovely clean smell.

When we had to cancel our trip to France in Covid, I ordered ten French soaps from this place and they've been fantastic. Bit of holiday at home

Another Faith in Nature fan here. Otherwise I use Savon de Marseille or an unscented olive oil soap I buy at an olive stall in the local market.

It is the nicest smelling soap I’ve ever had, and works better than other handmade soaps I’ve tried.

I like Cidal. Citrus and sunshine.

Sanex dermo sensitive. Not fancy or smelly but it’s the only thing that doesn’t leave my body skin feeling right, itchy and it doesn’t upset my ladygarden either.

Goats milk soap. Lasts ages a lovely creamy texture

After that, probably imperial leather, and then palmolive olive soap.

Nesti Dante soaps are divine and last for ages
Pears - the clear blue and green ones are lovely.

Savon de marsaille, Dove, loccatain shea butter soap.
Tk maxx do lovely soaps, i had a beautiful lemon one in a tin, french but can't remember make.
You can get the marsaille soaps on e bay in every flavour. My favourite are pine, menthol and lavender.

Nesti Dante fig and almond milk

I also love Nesti Dante soaps, I like the villages and monasteries, coconut and frangipani and the fig and almond scents best. They last for ages too.

Original Pears

Roger & Gallet, although it's getting harder to get hold of since Brexit.

Honestly the fanny soap is lovely!
I bought it for a joke ( but noone even noticed. Tells you how often hands are washed chez moi) but it's so nice and has lasted forever

😂😂@ fanny soap. I get lovely soaps in TK Maxx. Favourite ever was a rough block one with a lemongrass scent. Went back in and bought the lot!

Love proper soap and it lasts for so long. Got my DS (previously a Lynx user) into it as well.

I agree the Waitrose camomile soap is brill and so cheap!

I love Diptyque 34 soap as a treat. Huge bar that lasts a long time but £25! Smells absolutely amazing though and the scent lingers.

Kew gardens Iris soap. Long lasting and smells fabulous. I love bar soap and this is my favourite by far.
