Has anybody tried this? A mystery bag for £29.95?
I’ve fancied a Roka backpack for a while but haven’t quite decided. They have this offer just now but I’m aware it could go disastrously wrong.

Long-time lurker here. I got swept away after reading the post. Love the bag but prefer a bolder colour. Anyone want to swap for a Finchley small in Sherbet?

Mine arrived today,also a Finchley small A in sherbet and DD has said no way to using that at Uni (to be fair, I think it's too small for that anyway). It's a lovely bag so I'm going to keep it for now and if I don't end up using it will either gift or sell it. I'm not risking another go in the lucky dip and will just purchase DD one of the preferred colour and a bigger. What size and type would people recommend for Uni?

@spinningirl10 yes it is a backpack -I hadn't realised the Paddingtons aren't actually backpacks! So my two are definitely true samples. I wasn't too sure how I'd get on with smaller bags but having pranced around the house a bit with them, as you do 😂, I reckon they could be perfect for my day to day stuff, so I'm well chuffed!

My second bag arrived Finchley A in Sherbet but I'm going to keep it as actually quite like it even though I'm not a pink person!

I've got a Bantry B Medium in Meadow that I'm looking to swap for Finchley Medium if anyone is interested?

@DashboardConfessional Thank you so much for this. Just ordered 2 small Finchleys-Sicilian orange and Emerald for £34.95 each. Free delivery over £40. Was thinking of going for a other lucky dip for now I don't have to!

Yet another person caught up in the excitement from reading this post and I ordered one yesterday. It has just arrived and guess what?.... another small Finchley in Sherbet 😭

I know it's the chance you take with a lucky dip but I'm pretty disappointed as I'm really not a pink person and reading the latest posts it seems like there's an awful lot of surplus pink bags!

I think when ordering something from a lucky dip you need to consider that they are likely to be old stock/returns/seconds so chances are they are going to be the less popular colours, in this case the bright colours and pastel colours. Not many people have got he sensible neutral colours such as grey or khaki. Pink is probably the least popular which is why they have loads of them.

I got the lime green and it’s mega bright (too bright for me) but it was still fun getting the lucky dip 🤣. I have listed it on vinted but if it doesn’t sell I will keep it.

I'm waiting for my second to arrive and then I may order again and email requesting something small. I'm expecting a Finchley sherbet I think which is fine by me. I love bright bags.

Finchley A sherbert here - sadly for me the only colour I don't "do" is pink! Have listed on Vinted and marketplace but if anyone fancies a swap please hit me up. It's a lovely bag if you like pink!

It says no returns for lucky dip bags. Put it on Vinted or eBay.

I’m going to keep an eye out on my local charity shops for all these bags in unpopular colours being donated!

Lesley in customer services has been amazing! I ordered again and put in the notes that a had a sherbet so please anything but pink, and yet another sherbet turned up... So I emailed and she is sending me a replacement! Fingers crossed for not a sherbet! I should have done what others have now done and emailed on placing the order, but I thought the order notes would do it.

My order from this afternoon has been dispatched tonight. Should get it tomorrow. So excited.

I've been drawn into the excitement and ordered one too - picked by Shell (aka Sherbet Shell?).

Pink so not my colour but have decided to accept what comes and widen my horizons if need be.

I got a small Canfield B in Lemon Grass in the lucky dip. It is not a colour I would have chosen, but I can live with it as I love the design of the Canfield B. Despite being small, it holds masses and will be great for everyday use/ days out.

I was about to try again in the hope that I got a medium. But for a few pounds more I have opted instead to choose the colour, size and design I want from the Charles Clinkard site. So I have ordered a Medium Cranfield B in Ink.

No worries! That's what I'd have done if I'd got lavender - sold it on and spent an extra fiver to get a blue or green.
