Has anybody tried this? A mystery bag for £29.95? I’ve fancied a Roka backpack for a while but haven’t quite decided. They have this offer just now but I’m aware it could go disastrously wrong.

Last year the lucky dip was on until the end of January. I ordered towards the end and got a Finchley in marine, which I love. I think I’ll hold on and try again in the hope they get the pastels out of the way!

Yes Lesley in customer services is very helpful, she has dealt with my missing order of 2, asked my preference to which I said any colour but preferably medium and 2 different colours. She says she found 2 mediums ( not many left apparently) AND put in a small bag for free too. Don't know what colours but I'm very excited to get one free. Goodness knows why my order got lost but customer services have been very generous. I'll let you know what colours turn up.

Has anyone got a medium Bantry B? I'm trying to work out how much it can hold (14l capacity) versus the Bantry large (21l capacity). Also interested in any comments re nylon v canvas.

@spinningirl10 yes it is a backpack -I hadn't realised the Paddingtons aren't actually backpacks! So my two are definitely true samples. I wasn't too sure how I'd get on with smaller bags but having pranced around the house a bit with them, as you do 😂, I reckon they could be perfect for my day to day stuff, so I'm well chuffed!

Some of the Paddington are back packs, I got one the other day, but they don’t seem to be on the Roka website atm. Mine came with a carnaby wallet as well!

I've been looking at Rokas on and off for a few years but could never work out which size/style to go for - let's see what a lucky dip throws up!

I'd love a Paddington backpack but I think it's unlikely, I shall keep an eye on Vinted. I've got a different crossbody which I've had for a couple of years and I love it. Doesn't sound like they have many smaller bags left now.

If it helps anyone else, I just ordered another 2 (on the premise of presents… we shall see!) and I emailed their customer services advising which ones I got sent previously and they responded v quickly saying they’d happily picked different colours/styles for me this time round 🙂

I put a message into the order request, it was printed out with the receipt so they did see it. Said had pale lavendar and should I have a darker one this time.
they sent sherbet!

@twoandcooplease yes I’ve ordered and luckily spotted the free shipping code on page 1!

I already own a medium and small Bantry in navy so hoping I end up with a more interesting colour. I also have the purse in bright pink.

They are such great bags and I’m seeing more people with them now.
I don’t use a laptop but still tend to use the medium bag day today for all my stuff.
