I ordered the stack check trousers and an Emma tee in pale blue in this sale .. Nothing else that I want. The 'secret sale' striped Francis ( both colours)and orangestriped Emma arrived today along with the Beetroot almond neck sweat (which I am glad that I sized up in as wanted it for a lounge wear top..) and furoshiki wraps in blue ans I am keeping it all .. The only thing being returned is the linen cross back apron which sadly has unadjustable straps and is obviously meant for someone with a far smaller bust than mine... Shame because its lovely..

My order arrived.
Fairisle jumper, sleeveless denim dress and the Brushed back grey Jersey trousers and top are keepers.( M,8,M,M)
The craft check dress is a very strange shape and massive -XS
Lovely fabric but I felt I was wearing it back to front.
The neckline garroted me to the point of discomfort, the sleeves and collarbone area were huge and it sort of fell off the front of me in a sack.
Will return that and have ordered the BFL sweater, was stalking it in case it went in the sale.

@happysoju ,i bought the checkerboard pj's and am wearing them now. They are fab and the pattern is better irl.

I should have added that it is a lovely thin cotton, I'm just off a certain age and it's not that cold where i am!

For those who missed the Secret Sale, there's lots more now than a few days ago.

And also, may I have a moment to metaphorically run around the thread shouting "OMG!" and doing other outrageous gestures of shock and delight? When this dress came out a couple of years ago I fell in love. I was young in the 80s and this print speaks to my heart. I can hear pac man, and new romantics, and wearing too much makeup with too high, flammable hair. However, at the time of its debut, in addition to the hefty price tag, it was also made to order and I simply couldn't fathom how on earth i could be a person who owned such an expensive dress. Ever since then I've regretted not buying it. Occasionally I've googled it just to continue admiring it. AND IT'S IN THE SALE! So, it's still too expensive but I actually gasped when I saw it, I poured yet another glass of wine, grabbed my card and ordered it.

I hear you, sister! That is the most beauteous dress. Apart from the fact that I would have to feed my two kids beans on toast for the foreseeable (and they can’t actually stand beans), that would be in my basket in a nano-second. Lovely, lyrical writing that speaks to my heart about the importance of clothes (for some of us). Enjoy the frock!

Has anyone noticed that they have ramped the prices back up from previous sales. I am sure that the ash check ruffle neck shirt dress was about £65
or there abouts and not £80.
Also a few other things that have gone up from previous sales. I think that is really cheeky.

Hello! I have been lurking and the secret sale has finally encouraged me to create an account so I can connect with you all and ask why I can’t see the sale! I can search and some old stock is showing as reduced but not items that people here have mentioned as buying now in the sale. Do you think it’s because you are kindred members??

@MiracleToast - yes, it is restricted to Kindred members at the moment. They will open it up in a day or two (and will usually add more stuff at that point too).

@neveradullmoment99 yes they’ve increased the prices of some items, I noticed too! There were a couple of things I’ve purchased in previous sales that looked more expensive and I checked against my old orders and I was right!
Typical Toast! Every other retailer gradually decreases sale prices, not Toast though 🙄

@SmaugMum - they had ALL the denim dresses in the sale in the end - how brilliant!

I only had time for a very brief try on of my sale delivery because yesterday was a bit full on at home, but the wool and cashmere denim blue (?) jumper is quite an odd shape on me - I think I'd forever be pulling the neck down. The brown/blue graphic yoke jumper seemed way smaller than the previous version. I'm not sure if it suits me, so have ordered a medium to compare

It was really frustrating that the sale re-started so late - luckily there was a lull in all the cooking so I had time to have a proper look - there are an awful lot of new and very old things! I have ordered the slate Alix even though I really don't need another pair of linen trousers, it looks like they might be discontinuing them. Do you see the green ones too? I never saw them before. Also ordered the navy boatneck, the carbon collared t-shirt, and the neat alpaca jumper in chocolate.

Hope the dress is all you wish for @dudsville .
I thought the knitwear was cheaper than I remembered. The yolk jumper was surely not as low priced as that. Also the blue fairisle one is much cheaper than the same sort of jumper last year.

Glad it's not just my imagination.
I was tempted to try the jersey 'skirt dress' in navy. You know the one with the Jersey top and contrast check skirt with red trim but I'm sure it was really very well reduced at the summer sale? It's now been ramped back up.in price. Shitty tactics to ensure max profits annoy me. So decided not to bother.

I bought the king size ticking quilt cover in the secret sale and it has appeared in the main sale at £15 more .

I'm still tempted by the quilts but they are dry clean only, has anyone washed one? I think it would be really useful but hate dry cleaning.

I think that part Jersey part check dress only ever went down to 95 - what price is it now?
I dont think they will shift items if they dont keep discounting them though - as there is a lot of stuff that keeps popping back up in the sale!

@dudsville hope that dress is everything you wish for!

So I bought a full set of ticking duvet, sheet and pillow cases after all the positive reviews on here. I also bought some khaki dart trousers. And the last thing I have my eye on is the twill blue and hickory patterned dress. Hoping it may go down in price a bit more. Oh I also like the stack trousers...but should rein it in soon.

HI all. I am new here. I bought a ticking sheet in the secret sale and it reappeared £13 more expensive. I also bought the Raffia Embroidered Shirt which I have loved since seeing it on someone last summer, I bought a black boat neck T and the loop back Jersey trousers in charcoal. Other items I have been hoping for were not reduced.

It's really strange about the ticking bed linen @MsCFlower I just went and checked mine to make sure I’d got the right size, but it’s definitely a king.

Hopefully there will be more items added to the sale over the coming days, maybe the other things will appear for you.
