I imagine it's been tricky for them to get photos for cards which strike the right note for this year, Charles and Cams one is lovely but I wonder if they just got lucky with that one being taken shortly before hmq died? Not sure I've articulated that very well! What I mean is maybe the Wales' had a photo shoot booked in at the time of, or after, hmqs death and it was shelved as they couldn't be pictured looking happy after that iyswim?

Kate & William's card is lovely.

I love William and Catherine’s photo. I bought a very similar top to hers in Mint Velvet in the summer. I think she looks fab in skinnies. I’d kill to look like that.

Apparently Kate's blouse is "Mabel" by Mih and is a rewear.

It's a pretty blouse though she has committed one of my fashion faux pas, which is white bra under white blouse!

Yes, I was thinking she needed a flesh coloured bra.

You can barely see the white bra and since she doubtless has multiple nude bras at her disposal I’m guessing she probably decided a glimpse of a white one would be preferable to accusations of being naked underneath.

That outfit really emphasises how slight she is, although her legs look very nice and shapely.

I don't like the overall look though, its almost childish looking.

I thought this was a great photo of Princess Alexandra visiting a hospice yesterday - lovely colours in her jacket and scarf. She looks very elegant.

I read Kate did that so as they were less recognisable say to say when they were in regular clothes.

Agree a cropped pair of trousers would look better.

I like those other jeans she has, the straight and slightly cropped pair. They look more modern than skinnies.

Max and Charlene have been out and about... I would look like a clown in Max's ensemble but as usual she somehow manages to carry it off! Love Charlene channelling her inner 'call the midwife' ik her gorgeous blue cape 😍

That blue is stunning on Charlene. The gamine vibe she's got going on these days really suits her.

Agreed. It’s so they are less recognisable. We saw them at a local play area & it was the royal protection officer who stood out. The children were in v ‘normal’ clothes - cartoon characters in on t shirts type thing. Also the nanny did not look how you’d think a Norland Nanny would look.

I love the jumper Kate is wearing in the new video they’ve put up on Instagram but I don’t like the trousers (from what you can see). Look a bit like M&S elastic arsed waist trousers my Nan windows have worn in the 90s.

Whilst I thought her 'tweaks' were quite evident in this pics I loved her silver streaks in her hair

I like Kate's fairisle jumper but she's gone from Next catalogue to M&S Christmas ad!
