Unfortunately the tiara in the first photo (of the younger Mathilde) is the base of the Nine Provinces tiara, which I have recently acquired @locketrocket. It can be worn in various ways - the base can be worn as a bandeau style tiara, or as a necklace.

I’m another who who was underwhelmed by both Meghans wedding dresses. Like @Maireas I think halter necks are rarely flattering, and I didn’t like the collar. There is a photo somewhere of Sophia? maybe in the green version and I prefer that. I thought the wedding dress looks just looked a bit too plain and thick, and while I loved the veil and tiara it needed a slightly more delicate fabric. It also makes sense now that she was planning a different tiara shape to match the hem, which would have softened it I think. I would like to see it paired with the Spencer tiara, it would have lifted it all. I just think it didn’t look £120k worth of dress, if it was me I would have wanted more for my money 😂

Aquamarine really isn’t my colour. That’s the only reason that ring’s not gone straight on to my shopping list! 😉

I suspect that the real reason Meghan didn't wear the Spencer tiara is that its rightful owner, @frugalkitty, wouldn't let it out on loan. She needed it for doing her supermarket shop that day iirc. Fair enough really.

I might wear my newly acquired stomacher/brooch/pendant when I go to Morrison’s later. I think it hits just the right note for a casual errand.

William and Kate have come out of hiding are back at work. Fairly standard dad outfit for him and she's got her Blackwatch tartan coat on, which I really like. I think the dress might be navy rather than black to match her shoes.

I do wish William would make more effort with his appearance he always looks a bit dishevelled to me, I know he is probably trying to look more relatable but it looks as though he just doesn’t care what he wears.

How hard is it to think/say, no, don’t wear a green jumper today; a burgundy/brown/camel/ANY OTHER COLOUR THAY VAGUELY TIES IN shade would look better.

Like Kate’s outfit a lot though (except a million points off for wearing those shoes). Like the more casual bag. She would have got away with it had they both not been completely matchy matchy. Ugh.
