Yes fab..I seem to have got the shades wrong in my memory tho! A skirt that length would swamp me at 5ft3.. Meghan must be taller than she looks!

I agree with you, that cherry red outfit is great, one of my favourites.

I've read that she's about 5'6? It's roughly the same length on her as it is Letizia who is 5'7.

@mikado1 - I'm shorter than you (just over 5ft) and find that skirt length and style to be flattering!

So far I've only really worn it with jeans. It's quite a straight fit so I prefer to wear it tucked in as otherwise it can look a bit loose. And I've sized down too. I'm usually a 10/12 for tops depending on the cut but I've gone for an 8 in this style. Could probably get away with a 6 but I'm 5'9 and have long arms!

Meghan is 5'6"! Gosh, I thought she was 5'2 or something like that. I wonder why she feels so much shorter than she is?
She does casual so much better than formal - her clothes never seem to fit right or her underwear is wrong. That red dress she wore at the US veterans ball ...🙈 I love (and envy) her casual style. But she should ban belts from her wardrobe, indeed anything that draws a line across her waist.
I'm not really into Kate's style at all. She looks great in her outdoorsie clothes but her frou frou dresses do nothing for me. Having said that, I thought she looked great in Boston, hopefully a sign of things to come(?), and I've loved a lot of her evening gowns. And I'm probably on my own here but I love her coats. That burgundy one at the Carol concert was sublime on her.

I feel like she seemed smaller too @MarshaMelrose, especially as she wore high heels most of the time! Harry's quite tall so maybe that's why we think she's short. For years I thought Letizia was tiny but she isn't at all. It's just that Felipe is a giant!

I think the advent of Meghan, probably coupled with getting older, led to Kate reassessing her styling. She's a lot sleeker these days and wears trouser suits and separates a lot more too.

Yes, much prefer Kate's business like gear. Meghan is v petite somehow, which is why I thought she was small.

I don't have a super fab figure, @mikado1 ! I am small, but have a mum-tum even though my last pregnancy was 27 years ago 😁!
To make matters worse I have no arse at all, so dressing can be a challenge!

Whereas I have a big one 😂 so my waist band often gaping to allow for it 😂

Saw this on Instagram and was surprised how much it suits her.

That's a lot of retouching but the haircut is good on her. I think it would require a LOT of maintenance though. Her hair is pretty thick.

That does look nice! I agree with pp who said Kate's Wimbledon look with the yellow dress and slightly shorter shoulder length hair was one of her best looks.

I don't get the love for the wine leather skirt and jumper combo. The colours are tonal but don't quite work.
The same with the green leather skirt and blouse. Tonal but not quite right. And very ordinary.

I really feel like Kate has started to move away from the constant coat dresses and find a more contemporary smart look for some of her trips. More of this please! I can just about deal with coat dresses for things like church services, but there are so many more options for other types of visit. I have just ordered some wide leg trousers on the strength of some of the outfits in that retrospective posted earlier.

I really loved Meghan’s leather skirt looks - she did day wear really well a lot of the time and looked very polished without being stuffy. Some of her evening dresses were lovely too.

Just came across this on Instagram. Gorgeous picture of Her Majesty wearing a fab hat and amazing brooch, the Bahrain Dhow.
I doubt we'll see it worn again anytime soon, it is rather large and spiky as well as possibly tricky connections?

Perhaps it will be put on display somewhere.

@ShamedBySiri It would be lovely if under heavily armed guard, obvs the "out of favour" and unused/rejected jewels could be displayed at BP during the summer months.
There's hundreds of pieces.
Maybe it would be too expensive and too tempting for jewel thieves to hold, but it would be Magnificent 💎
