DP (who bought me the calendar for my birthday) walked past as I was opening it and said "Hand Cream, that's a bit boring". It has obviously escaped his attention that I have hand cream on my desk at home, in the car, in my handbag, in the bathroom etc....

Never tried this brand before and sounds like a lovely formulation so am happy with this and looking forward to trying it.

Happy with the hand cream, especially the size.

Hand creams are usually Doors of Disappointment for me (I have dry skin and most of them are too watery) but this one seems like a good 'un - feels a bit like the Body Shop's hemp hand cream

I've already started this hand cream a few days ago when I needed a new one anyway, it feels really nice but it's not doing enough for my dry hands in this cold weather.

I’m a bit meh. I love a good hand cream but I have a billion. Is it really good? I’ll keep it, likely, and see.

Happy with this, I always need hand cream. Saying that, I've not tried it yet -- trying to use up a different one first so as to keep some kind of check on how many are lying around the house at any given point.

I tend to like ones that are thick but kind of matte, and not overly fragrant. How does this one align?

I saw Planning with Crystal unbox this on YouTube and it looked amazing on her. To me, it looks super brown. I’m tempted to give it a go but I might try at a Space NK first so I don’t waste it if it’s not for me.

I really struggle with lipsticks, particularly highly pigmented ones because I have a double lip line and feel like a clown when I wear it. I’m sure a lot of it is down to not knowing how to apply it properly!

Also what’s the deal with matte lipsticks? Are they very popular these days?

Last year there was missing and damaged products
plus very few full size and quite a few products which were the same as the year before
just felt a bit meh
Space NK have more full size so felt like better value

@rubyslippers shame! I think I am biased towards liberty because I love Le labo and they always have one in the advent! But Space NK is much better value for me taking into consideration the brands I love and products I use which tend to sit in the mid range bucket rather than the niche, crazy expensive brands liberty typically include.

This is a bit of a meh day for me. I always think I'm going to like Pillow Talk but then when I put it on it's really brown on me. The formulation is nice and creamy but I tend to top Pillow Talk with a very slightly pinky gloss to make it suit my skin tone more. I guess it defeats the object of it being Matte but it will at least get used.

@Zoetrope1 I think Matte is currently very fashionable. There's no-where to hide with it in my opinion though, so you do need to get the shade right. I've got a lovely pinky nude matte that's currently my everyday go to.

What a let down I love pillow talk but i would never go for such an awful brown. Its like the least popular colour they could find.

Loving the products but anyone else getting annoyed when trying to take out each box. Took me ages this morning.

I’m okay with this. Sort of. I agree it does have a bit of a brown tone, but it works for me for work sometimes so not a total dud. I already have one though. So…

Eh. SpaceNK is boring me this year.

Love Le labo but not the prices

Ive put gloss over the top and it looks bit better

I got one in January for Xmas from this brand and hated it

I've always wondered about this shade because the brand makes such a huge deal of it, but I wouldn't have purchased it on its own. So I was interested to try it -- therefore a decent door for me.

It doesn't look awful on me but equally, doesn't look great.

I'll use it a bit though, as a 'house lipstick' (does anyone else have those? Like, you want to feel ready for the day but you aren't really going anywhere so your standards are a bit lower), probably with other things experimentally layered over it at random.

I found it was passable putting it on with a brush and using their lipliner but its not the pillow talk Id have gone for.
