Any interest in a opening/review thread?

I tend to open early.
No photos until after 0700?

@ecology1989 thanks for that. Always on the look out for a good serum, I also live in that region so equally looking for good skincare products to stave off the weather and look less weather beaten 🤣

Itsabeautifuldaytosavelives123 · 18/12/2022 09:27

I like todays Bobbi Brown blusher. I I usually do use a cream blusher but find they don’t last long on the skin, anyone have any tips to help it last? Definitely a colour I’d be happy to put on my lips too.

Stoic123 · 18/12/2022 10:01

Molton Brown day for me.

@Itsabeautifuldaytosavelives123 - as I've had the Bobbi Brown for a while can report that it doesn't last that long on the skin but it is very quick and easy to apply on the go/when you are out. I usually carry a small mirror in bag anyway so just take this instead.

Lemonademoney · 18/12/2022 10:43

Very happy with todays, it sits better on my skin than a powder

Stokey · 18/12/2022 11:21

Bobbi Brown for me which I'm pleased with, have also been hanging out for this since the Molton Brown day 3.

Those of you who have used the Christophe Robin, do you use it instead of shampoo or between shampoo and conditioner? Or another way completely....

Stoic123 · 18/12/2022 12:02

@Stokey - I used it instead of shampoo and followed up with a bit of my usual conditioner.

Defiantlynot41 · 18/12/2022 14:03

Same here (use as shampoo), it's weird stuff, feels gritty to the touch but creamy and lathery when it hits the water. Looking forward to using the Bobbi Brown, haven't used a cream blush but looks like a good colour and I've just chucked an ancient benefit blush so it's a good time for me

Dailymash · 18/12/2022 16:35

The Bobbi Brown cream blush is a bit of a DoD for me as I don’t use a blush. Can easily regift to a friend so not a total loss!

Another £26 to add to our total which is now £438.90.

Lovely drawer tiday 😊
left early for work - so didn’t manage a pic.

Nice thing to find in drawer today but not sure that I like the smell that much.

SheSawSeaShore · 19/12/2022 07:39

Ooh I’ve been waiting for today’s, I tried it in the store in Covent Garden a few weeks ago and loved the scent. And such a beautiful bottle too.

Peridot1 · 19/12/2022 07:55

I just had a quick sniff of it but wasn’t quite awake so will try properly later. A bit meh for me I think after two previous perfumes. Unless of course I find my new favourite perfume.

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 19/12/2022 08:00

Love todays. Great summertime smell.

Adventadventures · 19/12/2022 08:36

Can’t decide about today maybe a grey old wet day is not the right mood for sunflowers. Might save for summer or gift to DD

Mrcpy · 19/12/2022 08:41

This smell is right down my street and I’m delighted. Much better than the givenchy we had earlier. And from what I hear about Floral Street, it’s a brand I’m happy to get into.

Roundaboot · 19/12/2022 08:45

I've had this before, in the Floral Street sample pack. I like it but found it didn't last at all. However, this is a handy size to have in your handbag for top ups. I think I'll put it aside until summer

Peridot1 · 19/12/2022 08:54

Yes actually it might be a nice one to take on holiday.

Stokey · 19/12/2022 08:55

This is better than the other 2 perfumes, which I'll give to DH and DM. I tend to prefer things that are a bit more amber, or woody, but agree it'll be good in the summer.

SpicyToothpaste · 19/12/2022 09:58

Love todays! Prefer it to the other two perfumes to be honest (anyone want to swap theirs for one of the others?).

Giftwithpurchase · 19/12/2022 13:19

Such a pretty bottle today - I can't remember there being so many perfumes in the calendar tho am genuinely questioning my reason for getting it 😂

Coconut80 · 19/12/2022 15:53

This is my first disappointing drawer. I've had floral street perfumes before and the scent doesn't last at all. I've gifted it to my dd. Loved everything so far, favourites include Sunday Riley, the Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow and the pinky eye cream.

MyOtherCarIsAHearse · 19/12/2022 16:23

The bottle is stunning, but I was miffed to get a summer perfume in an advent calendar. Not sniffed it yet!

Roundaboot · 19/12/2022 20:03

PomRuns · 18/12/2022 08:08

DofD for me.

are we having a swap thread? I won’t use the make up.

Swap thread here

Dailymash · 19/12/2022 20:17

Love the bottle, love the scent. I’ve put some on after my shower tonight and although the scent is mixing with a background of garlic bread for tea it is really nice! Definitely more of a summertime fragrance which feels a bit wrong given it is the shortest day on Wednesday. Not a DoD for me as I love a fragrance.

This adds another £25 to our total which is now at £463.90.

Falalalalalal · 20/12/2022 06:34

Didn’t like yesterdays perfume at all - my first drawer that I won’t use. Gave it to my DD.
