Any interest in a opening/review thread?

I tend to open early.
No photos until after 0700?

Right having looked again I think the extra thing is basically little spatula to dip in to the pot to avoid using your fingers.

@SheSawSeaShore - JL did a Radiance Beauty Box that was valued at £190 but free if you spent a certain amount on beauty and the advent calendar counted. So a few people bought the calendar to get the box as well. And then a few days later JL discounted the calendar and some of us were able to claim a refund as we had bought within a certain number of days.

Happy with todays - I'm currently using a very plain boring day cream so this is excellent. I use Sunday Riley ice as a night cream and that came with the little plastic thingy too - I use it to scoop product out of the pot. I actually really like using it. And thanks I wouldn't have noticed it in the drawer!

wasiwrongtoask · 11/12/2022 06:40

I bought the calendar for this item and it's missing! I got two of the applicators and no cream! Still not resolved by JL either so feeling very disappointed about it reading everyone's reviews!

Chickydoo · 11/12/2022 06:48

I've got no applicator. Mine isn't a cream this morning

Stoic123 · 11/12/2022 07:46

Exfoliating cleanser in mine. Will give it a try once the current one used up.

I am awash in exfoliators (mainly due to REN's enthusiastic marketeers - does the Glow line Promotions Manager ever sleep?).

Pootle40 · 11/12/2022 08:02

@Chickydoo what do you have today? I love Murad so excited to try this cleanser.

Peridot1 · 11/12/2022 08:09

I like Murad too but have never tried this. I don’t use exfoliators too often but I’ll try this once or twice a week.

I know what you mean about the Ren one @Stoic123! I tend to avoid anything with that in it now.

@Chickydoo it was a Murad cleanser this morning. The cream was yesterday.

That's not good @wasiwrongtoask. There seem to have been issues with a few different calendars this year. One MNer had a full row of empty drawers in the F&M one. Hope JL resolve it for you.

Mrcpy · 11/12/2022 08:12

Another product that I like today! Though I need to finish my tube of tretinoin and take a break before I dive into exfoliators.

The advent calendar products I’ve enjoyed using the most so far are the molten brown shower gel and the two serums. Keeping the SR cream and exfoliators in reserve until I finish current products, but excited about using them!

pattyparsnip · 11/12/2022 08:15

I'm impressed another decent size/make I haven't tried this before . It will probably take me ages to use as I'm my skin can't tolerate too much exfoliating.

MyOtherCarIsAHearse · 11/12/2022 09:36

I’m okay with this.

Stokey · 11/12/2022 09:38

I like Murad as a brand but would have preferred a different product, particularly after already getting the ExfoliKate. I think exfoliation can be a bit harsh on older skin so will use this sparingly.

Roundaboot · 11/12/2022 09:57

I'm happy with this but agree that another exfoliating product feels a bit much!
I'll put this away until I've used up my current one but will probably use in preference to the Exfolikate as I think it'll be gentler

PomRuns · 11/12/2022 10:37

It’s an ok drawer for me - I’ll use it but it’s not overly exciting (appreciate not every day is going to be wow).

I like to have a stash of cleansers to work through but I think I’ll keep this one till the summer as my skin’s a bit too sensitive in the cold for much exfoliation. Nice brand to look forward to though!

Mookie81 · 11/12/2022 12:33

Very happy so far.
Favourites are the lippie and the perfume, as I'm getting bored of Coco Chanel and have been wanting to try something new.

Mookie81 · 11/12/2022 12:34

Also loving the eyeshadow pallette. 😍

Lemonademoney · 11/12/2022 13:32

Lovely product and I will definitely use it BUT another exfoliater? Seems a bit of a shame

Peridot1 · 11/12/2022 13:33

I am more likely to use this one in my face than the ExfoliKate which I’ll probably use on my feet. [grun]

Peridot1 · 11/12/2022 13:34

Grin obviously not grun!

Talisin · 11/12/2022 14:38

I dunno. ‘grun’ somehow sounds right for feet😁

Lookingformymarbles · 11/12/2022 17:42

After yesterday's fab moisturiser I was expecting a smaller sample size of something today so pleasantly surprised.

Saying that I already have a few exfoliating products as only use about once a week so will take a while to get used

Stoic123 · 11/12/2022 17:47

Just tried the ExfoliKate on both face and feet (used 2 mins face and 4 mins feet). Face is glowing and my feet do feel softer. Will save for face moving forward but intrigued to see impact on feet.

Lemonademoney · 12/12/2022 06:52

Delighted with todays offering 😍 a real classic luxury fragrance

Mrcpy · 12/12/2022 07:20

This fragrance hasn’t been on my radar but I love it already! Really pleased. Going to try the shower gel this morning before work.

Stoic123 · 12/12/2022 07:22

Very, very happy.

Drawer of Delight.
