Gucci Sneakers on Finance?

RaspberryBlu · 26/11/2022 18:01

Does anyone know where I can get Gucci Ace Bee on a pay monthly deal? I would love them before Christmas but don't want to spend significant amounts right before Christmas as would rather have money for spontaneous trips and events. It'd be great to split over 6 or 10 months.

Yes the OP sounds EXACTLY like an addict 🙄

As in spunking money on ridiculous things

Ivyonafence · 27/11/2022 20:47

Get a credit card. Use it for this one thing then cut it up.

NippyWoowoo · 27/11/2022 21:02

I do that too. But i have ADHD, not a raging drug addiction. It’s a stupid comment.

toastedcat · 27/11/2022 21:09

Try DHGate for some dupes

Mcmew · 27/11/2022 21:20

You only live once!! Paypal do 0% interest repayments over x4 months

orangeandred · 27/11/2022 21:21

Firstly OP, you can buy whatever you want and it isn't anyone's business but yours and if other people think it's ridiculous it doesn't matter. Secondly, plenty of people who have disposable cash will buy things on finance/credit. I personally wouldn't pay this much for shoes but who cares!
Klarna do a thing where you can pay over 3 months I'm not sure If they have one for more. Otherwise credit card and pay off over however many months you wish! Hope you get your trainers and enjoy them! And of course don't get yourself into financial difficulties 🥰

Farmageddon · 27/11/2022 21:31

Off topic, but where can I find jeans like that (not designer version but normal people version please?
I've seen some really nice 'boyfriend' style jeans on a few people in real life but can't seem to find any online.

Suemademedoit · 27/11/2022 21:50

I have a trip planned in December that I really want them for.

Setting aside everything else, this is the part I don’t get. I’ve never understood it. They’re a totally generic pair of white trainers. It’s not like they’re hiking boots that you need for hiking; snowshoes for a snowshoeing holiday; ballroom dancing shoes for a new class you’re taking etc etc. Why would you want this specific pair of (hugely overpriced) white trainers for a trip that evidently doesn’t require specialise shoe wear?

Because different people like different things, HTH.

It doesn’t help, no. That was a trite answer that didn’t even correlate to the question 🤷‍♀️

Applecottagetree · 27/11/2022 23:46

@Ihatecocomelon so everyone who buys designer can be compared to a junkie based on your reasoning. Utterly ridiculous

MistyRock · 28/11/2022 05:12

It's quite obvious that the op hasn't got quite as much money as she hopes, there's been a lot of helpful advice on here. If you really love the trainers just buy them via Gucci on klarna. Don't buy anything else until they are paid off. Enjoy them.

Cassillero · 28/11/2022 05:16

Rosie22xx · 26/11/2022 18:13

I wouldn't buy from gucci as they are also a part of this whole balenciaga scandal. Don't pump money into these businesses, they're criminals in plain sight. It's pretty horrific.

I didn't know Gucci and Balenciaga were linked? Glad I don't have Gucci trainers now as that ad campaign was vile!

Riapia · 28/11/2022 07:20

You should have said that the trainers are for your DD.
All the posters criticising you would have been heaping you with praise.

Notplayingball · 28/11/2022 07:26

Blemaesosej · 26/11/2022 18:24

Your financial situation isn’t ‘great’ if you can’t afford to buy them outright.

This

Notplayingball · 28/11/2022 07:33

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 26/11/2022 18:58

If you loiter outside a shoe shop you may find the right-hand shoe that will pretty much fulfill your requirements (it won't be Gucci more like Cheepi) STEAL that shoe.

Next go along to other shoe shops in the area that have a rack outside and find a similar left-hand shoe. (It does not need to match.) STEAL that shoe.

Now you have an eclectic style all of your own and no debt.

NOTE: the theft of shoes is frowned upon by many societies so check with the Police where you live to establish it is acceptable before you embark on this task.

Sound advice, that🤣

CinnamonJellyBeans · 28/11/2022 07:36

You should have said it was a Chanel bag, or that the trainers are an "investment" in order to get more useful replies.

bloodyplanes · 28/11/2022 07:38

Op ignore all the snide comments on here! It's your money, spend it on what makes you happy! Look on the Clearpay app, they have plenty of shops that sell designer clothing, maybe you will find them on one of those! You can pay in 4 interest free installments with Clearpay.

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 28/11/2022 07:41

Iamthewombat · 26/11/2022 21:31

This is spot on, I’m afraid.

This^^

I would also add, that if you buying them means you don’t have the money to do others things, ( like you said), you can’t afford them. Full stop.

abblie · 28/11/2022 07:43

Anywhere that has clearpay or klarna there is no interest added on and the payments are 4 monthly payments.

Coconut212 · 28/11/2022 07:56

why you asking on mumsnet, you know what response you’d get. Google it

PritiPatelsMaker · 28/11/2022 08:00

She's asking for payments over 10 months which suggests that's she's not nearly as financially stable as she thinks she is.

Annabel073 · 28/11/2022 09:51

Where has the OP said they want white trainers?

Because she likes them. I’m sorry you are unable to process and take meaning from that.
