Gucci Sneakers on Finance?

RaspberryBlu · 26/11/2022 18:01

Does anyone know where I can get Gucci Ace Bee on a pay monthly deal? I would love them before Christmas but don't want to spend significant amounts right before Christmas as would rather have money for spontaneous trips and events. It'd be great to split over 6 or 10 months.

I don't use credit cards, I don't want them they are too much if a slipper slope!

Financing through Klarna, Divide Buy etc is usually interest free so have no need for them. Generally I save and/or buy outright but I don't want to on this occasion.

The savings I have are in an account that I aren't withdrawing from, for the interest and long term investment reasons, better to not touch.

Thanks to those of you suggesting sources I can look into.

I don't smoke, barely drink and don't do drugs (!!!). I can afford my bills, Christmas is sorted and I am old enough to decide if I want to treat myself and how I pay for that is really no one else's concern.

So don't make it our concern by posting on here?

To answer you’re actual question OP, flannels do Klarna and I think they stick them? Or try netaporter that’s where I got mine from but not sure if they do the finance thing.

Warning though, they’re so uncomfortable! My DH has a pair too and we call them the shoes of death!

Ah no really?! I have tried some on and they were fine but obviously a try on isn't indicative of longer term comfort! How/where do they hurt your feet? I have broad feet, maybe better opting for men's?!

I was asking for where provides a service I would like to use - not financial advice.

You could always just Google it..

MassiveSalad22 · 26/11/2022 18:53

They’re a status symbol - surely the whole point is you only get them if you can afford them.

No, basically they are what poor people buy to make themselves look rich and rich people wouldn’t be seeing dead in due to the former

Have you tried a search engine such as Google?

I do understand these comments aren't meant to be unkind or judgey and I understand where you are coming from and why you've all commented advising against it but I think I've explained clearly my reasons for opting to spread the cost in this instance.

I wouldn't encourage others to do the same if they cant afford to but my financial situation personally is great (feels vulgar to mention this during COL problems) and I've been at the bottom opposite end of things when younger with bailiffs etc. but life is a lot different these days. I have a trip planned in December that I really want them for. I've coveted them for years (don't care if others don't like them!!) and now they're the next thing on my short wishlist.

Your financial situation isn't great if you can't buy them outright without compromising on other things.

I don't consider our financial situation to be "great" but if I really wanted to spend £500 on a pair of trainers right now I could (I wouldn't!)

boboshmobo · 26/11/2022 18:58

Find a retailer that does Klarna .. although expensive trainers are for people that the cost doesn't matter ! 🤷‍♀️

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 26/11/2022 18:58

If you loiter outside a shoe shop you may find the right-hand shoe that will pretty much fulfill your requirements (it won't be Gucci more like Cheepi) STEAL that shoe.

Next go along to other shoe shops in the area that have a rack outside and find a similar left-hand shoe. (It does not need to match.) STEAL that shoe.

Now you have an eclectic style all of your own and no debt.

NOTE: the theft of shoes is frowned upon by many societies so check with the Police where you live to establish it is acceptable before you embark on this task.

jtaeapa · 26/11/2022 19:01

Direct from Gucci and pay with Klarna

or put on credit card

Ohheythereitsme · 26/11/2022 21:03

You should be using credit if you are wealthy because there are a lot of rewards and benefits. Never spend your own money, pay it off every month in full but always someone else takes the risk and you benefit from the rewards.

AngelicaElizaAndPeggy · 26/11/2022 21:07

Get them off Vinted OP and then you can take them on a holiday with all the cash you save.

RampantIvy · 26/11/2022 21:18

Why am I getting an advert for Hotter shoes in the middle of this thread?
Grin

NCFT0922 · 26/11/2022 21:20

Don’t do it. It’s ridiculous to buy clothes & trainers on finance. Wait until you can afford them comfortably.
And no, you can’t afford them comfortably if you don’t want to spend “that much” before Christmas.

NCFT0922 · 26/11/2022 21:22

Don’t get them if you have broad feet. Or balenciaga runners (not that I would advise anyone to buy them anyway at the moment) they’re very narrow fittings.
Have you tried new balance? You will be able to buy them outright and they’re so much comfier.

Hoppinggreen · 26/11/2022 21:28

I think people are perfectly entitled to buy designer goods if they can afford it.
However, if your financial situation was “great” you could buy them and still have plenty of savings.

Always4Brenner · 26/11/2022 21:30

CheapWine · 26/11/2022 18:10

£560 for trainers? That you have to get on credit?

🙈

How much?😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮no no no just no.

This is spot on, I’m afraid.

TheFarawayNearby · 26/11/2022 21:39

Covetthee · 26/11/2022 18:18

OP you should know that as soon as you mention designer on this board you get your ass handed to you, surprised no one has mentioned just to get primark ones.

paypal is a good option too. I’m pretty sure net a porter etc do finance or klarna.

This is somewhat disingenuous - the OP is getting so many shocked replies due to the combination of designer trainers and needing to use credit to buy them.

countdowntonap · 26/11/2022 22:06

How can your financial position be great if you can’t buy fuses out right now? Is you money all tied up in investments?

Downunderduchess · 26/11/2022 22:34

If you do things like this you are financially irresponsible. There is absolutely no need. I love nice things but if I don’t have the money I don’t buy them.

bellamountain · 26/11/2022 22:40

I just had to check the date to see if this was an old thread? These (ghastly) trainers were everywhere 5 years ago. Now you see copies in the Aldi middle section.
