I thought the same @eggandonion - surely someone should work between them all to coordinate (or inform that Camilla is wearing X, Kate Y and down the order so that they know what colours to avoid) and a spreadsheet would be the best / easiest way for this.

A shared google sheet would work perfectly Grin

The emerald green outfit towards the end of their stay in England was a really interesting one, she wore some unusual things. Some hits, some misses like everyone.
I think Harry needs a better california wardrobe, his casuals need to be updated, they look a bit faded but not in a good way, just washed out. He wears too much grey.

Eaumyword · 09/12/2022 11:48

Normally love Max's outfits, but that's more greens than the Wizard of Oz!
Stephanie does look lovely and serene.

I'd like to think the women have a group chat and every time a new event pops up they race to bagsy a colour on it! And it would be very strictly adhered to i.e. no excuses of being in a different time zone when the event was posted on the group Grin

They could also do the jewellery on it! Can you imagine? Kate and Cams light-heartedly bickering about tiaras, and Bea and Eug arguing about colours whilst Anne occasionally comments I'll have green and haven't you lot got better things to do?! (It's quite nice here in my own little world WinkBlush)

justasking111 · 09/12/2022 12:14

My son lived in Bermuda for six years, their clothes were always smart/casual and more colourful.

Harry still dresses like David Cameron casual wise. Meghan needs a big clear out of his wardrobe

The coat perfect Christmas shade. Gawd knows where she found the cruise ship trousers

XanaduKira · 09/12/2022 12:22

That would be fab @iknowimcoming but Meghan said that it's in hierarchical order, so I assume she'd have 3rd dibs (maybe 4th - would Ann be above her?)

KillingMeDeftly · 09/12/2022 12:46

I'm watching the H&M doc and have to say their house decor is exactly as I expected. Basically just an extension of Meghan's personal style - understated (but undoubtedly expensive) elegance!

eggandonion · 09/12/2022 13:36

I don't think Anne would care. I wonder did Angela Kelly organise them all.

Good point she may well have

I agree. Someone on the thread previously posted about expecting the decor to look like something from a Nancy Meyers film. Nailed it. A style now known in fashion and home decor as "coastal grandma," but embraced by young, old, and in between. Besides being attractive, it's easy and comfortable. And, yes, often expensive.

hopeishere · 09/12/2022 16:28

I saw there was a scene where she is being fitted for a red dress. I'm surprised as I though that dress was very badly fitted!!

I'm not sure it was all actually filmed at their house. It was lovely wherever it was!

MotherofPearl · 09/12/2022 16:56

I must say I did get some bad house envy watching the H&M doc. Beautiful big light airy rooms, and such amazing outdoor space too. Coming from California Meghan must have found the royal palaces - for all their opulence and history - rather dark and airless. Smile

One thing I'm so relieved about it is that as a thread, we seem to have avoided some of the batshit heated H&M debates that seem to raging elsewhere. RS&B stands above the fray! We are, as always, all about the important things - jewels and fashion.

MotherofPearl · 09/12/2022 16:57

seem to be

justasking111 · 09/12/2022 16:59

As a child went on a school trip round Windsor castle. Honestly it gave me the heeby jeebies. Was expecting Casper and co to Pop out of the walls. Headless horseman, etc I was so glad to get out.

Maireas · 09/12/2022 17:00

It's supposed to be haunted!

Agree, though I'm quite happy to discuss home interiors as an extension of the style aspects of these threads!

@SenecaFallsRedux that was me who made the Nancy Meyers comment. Her films are pure house porn!

frugalkitty · 09/12/2022 18:22

Killing your comment made me chuckle and reminded me of the time my friend and I went to the cinema to watch Fifty Shades.....in one scene we both turned to each other snd said "Ooh, I like those tiles!" 😂

MotherofPearl · 09/12/2022 18:39

I'm very happy to extend to home decor chat. I mean, I know we spent some time chatting about Princess Anne's sitting room, for example. Grin

MotherofPearl · 09/12/2022 18:43

And I'll cheerfully confess that my own home decor is what Carrie Johnson would most definitely classify as 'a John Lewis nightmare'.

SenecaFallsRedux · 09/12/2022 20:34

It's true that most people who are interested in fashion are interested in home decor. @KillingMeDeftly , your post about what H and M's decor might be really struck a note when I was watching the documentary. I live on the other coast of the US, and the aspirational look here these days is sort of Nancy Meyers, but as this is the Deep South, you need to have a heavy piece of two of grandma's antique furniture in the mix.

eggandonion · 09/12/2022 20:37

American homes I have been in have a great many lamps.

CliffsofMohair · 09/12/2022 20:55

Wondering who Max is shouting for in the Ned v Arg football match right now.

GrouchyKiwi · 09/12/2022 20:56

I shall have to google Nancy Meyers films as I have no idea what they are!

Princess Stephanie does indeed look lovely and serene.

Max's greens are not great, but I love her coat. I wonder if Kate is eyeing it with envy. Grin

CliffsofMohair · 09/12/2022 20:59

Everyday can be St Patrick’s Day with enough green coats ☘️
