just read the word cropped and I thought that’s it.

Maybe second place is high-rise.

AbsoluteTruths · 07/11/2022 19:58

Pleated and BodyCon. Am way too old and curvy for that schtik! Also polyester. Or Cashmink.

antiquisearchers · 07/11/2022 19:58

"Distressed" as in jeans
"Recycled polyester"
"Vegan leather"

Mumteedum · 07/11/2022 19:59

I am probably talking to the wrong people as a not very stylish and not very beautiful person, but I hate all the jargon that I feel I'm supposed to know what it means.

Ponte
Jaquard
Borg

I know there's more... They just start appearing as if I'm supposed to understand!

MoltenLasagne · 07/11/2022 19:59

Yep, came to say vegan leather. No, I'm not paying £100 for plastic boots thanks.

NoMoreAgeJokes · 07/11/2022 20:01

Recycled

Fabric described only as “jersey” with no actual details of content

PeekabooAtTheZoo · 07/11/2022 20:01

Cropped
3/4 length (sleeves or trousers)
Followed closely by "relaxed fit" by which they mean "shaped like a bin bag".

I can't wait for this poor-fitting fad to be over and for properly-shaped clothing that covers the right parts of your body to make a comeback when everyone will stare in horror at the current monstrosities and wonder how and why anyone ever paid money for that shit.

Sellingstress · 07/11/2022 20:01

Ooh
A ‘waterfall’ drape
high rise
bias cut
asymmetric
dry cleaning only

There is more. Gotta be more.

Reassemble · 07/11/2022 20:03

If it's a collaboration that involves the 'Brand' X 'Whoever' thing - It's just the 'X' bit, it makes me cringe. Also, a bit niche, but when a waistline gets referred to as 'snatched' ergh and if it's anything 'core' - cottagecore, normcore, just no. That seems to be going away though maybe. I hope. And things like 'Coastal Grandma'. I could go on.

orangeisthenewpuce · 07/11/2022 20:03

Vegan leather
Pant/s when they mean trousers
Mom

NellyTimes · 07/11/2022 20:04

Midi. Every dress is a fucking midi.
Tiered.
Oversize.
Puff sleeves.
Wide leg.
Mom.

EtonMusk · 07/11/2022 20:04

Easycare

Backless

Spaghetti [straps]

......

Paq · 07/11/2022 20:04

Grey.

I hate grey clothes. They are so dull.

thebestcestmoi · 07/11/2022 20:05

BOXY

Ugh

And this whole ‘vegan leather’ thing needs to stop!!

heidbuttsupper · 07/11/2022 20:07

Vegan leather though is a choice for those of us who choose not to wear leather or suede.

Your £100 will buy you a pair of leather boots .
Though the dirt cheap ones I'd wonder about the husbandry that got it there .

My latest vegan boots were £80 but my choice -though the choices are limited

squashyhat · 07/11/2022 20:08

Anything which is sized S M L etc. Lazy. Put a proper dress size on it (especially as 14 seems to be XXL nowadays)
