just read the word cropped and I thought that’s it.

Maybe second place is high-rise.

Thanks @RampantIvy . I'm usually on the lookout for shoes that look ok and are comfortable either for me or my DM (in her 70s but trendy). The last three pair I got her were Hotter, Rieker and Nike. She likes a small heel. Pavers looks good. She goes through shoes quickly.

I've only ever had one pair of Skechers and it was decades ago. I wore them for years until they fell apart, and I'm not heavy on shoes.

12-14 16-18 what if I'm borderline 14/16 I just want solid sizes.

RampantIvy · 10/11/2022 18:09

I'm with you on that @FirstTimeMum072022.
I struggle with 10 - 12 and 14 - 16 because I am 12 - 14.

woodhill · 10/11/2022 18:19

Yes Woolovers do 8-10 but I'm more 10-12 not 12-14 itms

Wooltongirl · 10/11/2022 18:53

Side-split (as in jumpers) Why???

WhoppingBigBackside · 10/11/2022 18:57

@Wooltongirl , so that the jumper can go over hips.
Maybe they're useful for the french tuck?

Oh YY to this - drives me insane. I'm a sort of 11, so sometime a 10, sometimes a 12 - 8-10 can be too tight, 12-14 too big.

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 10/11/2022 19:15

I remember side split jumpers way before the French Tuck.

WhoppingBigBackside · 10/11/2022 19:20

Me too, Arse. Someone I know used to wear them before she lost weight.
