SOTD began with Amber Orient but it really didn't last so I've added By The Fireplace for this horrid grey afternoon.

It's very bright here but no doubt the rain in on the way...

It's wearing day for sample A from the spice box. It's floral spice to my nose. Pleasant enough but not over keen.

I've got my le Jardin Retrouve cuir de ruisse candle burning whilst I'm waiting for my bedding to dry - then I'm jumping into bed with Alan Rickmans diaries.

Thanks for the All Beauty tips for my 24 Faubourg. May order or just order Fidgi EDP and Arpege , both of which I'm desperate to try instead.
I have also found a perfume from my youth - Pure Silk - formerly by Yardley- online for pennies.

sotd : sample A from the escentuals box - it's quite pleasant and cinnamony, am just not that into it

SOTD has been EL Tender Light. Finished off the sample, don’t like it enough to buy a bottle but it was a nice scent. Bergamot, tea and iris, light and fresh.

My sample using up project is going well but I still have loads left!

Not sure what SOTE will be yet, maybe Kayali Vanilla.

SOTD Mon Guerlain. I absolutely adore this fragrance.

I love Mon Guerlain too @ThreeImaginaryBoys. I got a small 30ml bottle a few weeks ago and there is already a serious dent in it.

I also love Mon Guerlain. It gets many compliments.

Today's scent is Court of Ravens.

SOTD - Jessica Simpson Fancy Nights. Still love this and am halfway through my back up bottle. Not sure if there's many left on ebay now...

Just bought another bottle on eBay, I'll be gutted when there's no more!

It's truly terrible imo. Will stick with the vanilla.

By the Fireplace is - as you all know - one of my favourite scents ever. My love for it borders on obsession 😃

But...of ALL their other perfumes I like maybe 2 of them? Whispers in the Library and lazy Sunday morning. I was SO disappointed by Autumn vibes and after the rain ☹️ they just smell synthetic and nasty.

With most houses (except chanel and guerlain) I can generally pick a few scents I like - but not theirs.

I am actually wearing Lace which was a 70s (I think) perfume by Lentheric ( loved their perfumes - except Tweed) but now brought out by somebody else.

Actually it is a body spray but lovely. It is now by Taylor of London.

SOTD Legacy of Petra - love the warmth of this but it just makes me think of airports. Wondering if flight crew are wearing it!
