Am sitting happily with the Christmas lights on as today is the last day of Christmas (number 12!) and their last day up🎄🎁🎅 - the decs will come down tomorrow. 😔

No SOTD for me today, strangely haven't fancied any particular bottle this past week - still not feeling 100% and am waiting for yet more migraine medication.

Will probably need some scented comfort and fortification tomorrow, though. ❄️

These migraines seem to give me terrible mood swings, I'm finding hard it hard to deal with all the ups and downs. I never know how I'm going to feel about anything.

@Judystilldreamsofhorses Hyacinths are one of my favourite floral smells! Especially coming down in the morning when that wall of fragrance hits you. 😁

The Christmas decorations came down this afternoon - I think we've done it on the sixth of Jan for as long as I can remember. It takes at least two days to put them all up, but only a few hours to pack them away again. 🎄🎁🎅

Am off to choose a comforting smell.

sotd Tom ford Soleil Neige - i love this one for winter it's my main wintery scent but am now looking towards spring.

SOTD Kayali Vanilla Royale layered with Vanilla 28. I prefer this combination to the Vanilla Royale on its own, the 28 softens the patchouli a bit and they both have that lovely smoky sweet note.

SOTD is Shazam for a rainy, windy Saturday.

Today is diary day here - have been busy putting the year ahead into order.

Hello everyone! You all sound beautifully scented. There are some wonderful choices on here. For Christmas I asked for Karen Timson Rosa de Rio. It was love at first sniff when I had a sample so I went for a full bottle for Christmas. It's a beautiful floral musk with roses and patchouli. I just love it. Today I'm wearing Rose Poetique by Manos Gerakinis. It's a big, glamorous heavy rose and has good staying power. I suppose I'm in a rose mood lately.

I really need to gove the kitchen a good do over. Ugh. Hate it.

Last week I got a Molecule 01 discovery set. It's 01 + patchouli, 01 + mandarin and 01 + iris.

On first sniff, they're all nice. Nice as in pleasant, if someone gifted me them I'd be quite happy but they don't seem special enough to buy.

I wore 01 + Mandarin yesterday, liked it but it had such poor longevity.

I'm wearing 01 + Iris today. Smells a shade more powerful, will see how the longevity is.

Tomorrow 01 + Patchouli (which seemed very potent on first testing!). I did try layering them last week in different ways but the iris and mandarin always faded too quickly and the patchouli dominated a little too much.
